Brought colostrum for my gut. Have a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder. Severe pain. Again brought colostrum for my gut. Started taking it. And I started noticing within two days the pain in my shoulder started subsiding. So put two and two together said maybe the colostrum has something to do with this. Started reading up more on colostrum. And sure enough it's great for muscle and tendon tears. Because it's a natural growth hormone. Thus repairs torn muscle and tendons. So this was a accidental big bonus I stumbled upon with this stuff. I'm 57 and will continue to use this stuff for the rest of my life. It's literally a miracle worker. A gift from god..❤

I found this really interesting, especially about the colostrum. I'm adopted, so wasn't breastfed. I was quite a sickly child and was on antibiotics a lot. I have also suffered a lot of gut issues, including heartburn. I had a stomach op in my 20s to remove gallstones & gall bladder which I think ended up causing me more issues than it solved! I have a fair amount of fibre I think and I do take Yakult or similar most days. I have never thought of trying colostrum though. Emma x

My mother at 61 got a kidney stone 3months ago which led to 3months of harsh antibiotics waiting on surgery. Now yesterday was diagnosed randomly with chrones disease with no prior history. I believe in my gut its her bodys reaction to the antibiotics. I told her about the Colostrum we have a newborn and i remember the doc saying how great it was. I am hoping this helps correct what has been done to my mom along with a healthy diet and probiotics/prebiotics

Chronic antibiotic use can sometimes disrupt the balance of gut bacteria and potentially contribute to digestive issues. Colostrum, along with a healthy diet and probiotics/prebiotics, may help support gut health, but it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice. They can assess your mother's condition, provide a proper diagnosis, and recommend appropriate treatment options for her kidney stone and Crohn's disease. It's always best to work with a medical professional to ensure the best care for your mother. Please feel free to arrange a meeting with me so that we may talk about your Mom's health and well-being objectives bit.ly/3EmExdU

Thank you so much for this information. I am type 1 diabetic and have Hashimotos, so know at one point I most likely had leaky gut, even though I thought at the time I ate a fairly clean diet. Since diagnosis (age 57) I have further eliminated foods that could be inflammatory. I recently did a food sensitivity/intolerance panel and made further changes. Thankfully I do not experience bloating, gas, GI discomfort yet, candida was moderate on this last test ( weeks ago) and also with Meridian test done 5 years ago. It appears no matter what I have done with changes in my diet, the candida continues. I don’t think I have ever taken colostrum, maybe once in last 10 years, but, have several times given to my Boxer dogs when they were sick. I have taken the megasporebiotic ( through naturopathic chiropractor) before but not the prebiotics. So will order these as well. My dogs on the other hand, get pre and probiotics daily! Question though - recent food intolerance test showed milk products as moderate. Would colostrum be considered inflammatory for me? My whole goal in taking the test was to try and eliminate as much inflammation as possible so I don’t experience more disease.

There is often hope for healing and improvement, even when the gut has been through a difficult time. Please feel free to arrange a meeting with me so that we may talk about your health and well-being objectives and discuss your questions in more detail bit.ly/3EmExdU Remember to be patient with yourself and give your body the time it needs to heal. Colostrum is compelling and I recently started the Ancestral product, but I have found that taking probiotics (including megaspore products) has exacerbated my problems, and then learned that adding more bacteria to the bacterial overgrowth of SIBO is a BAD idea. So it doesn't seem that a one size fits all fix for these complex issues is not a practical, effective or even safe approach.

While I appreciate all of this information and the knowledge shared, I have learned fiber is not the answer for many people with SIBO or IBS. It can actually create more digestive distress. As Dr. Mark Pimentel says about fiber in regards to SIBO sufferers, "It’s going to take a lot of time for the fiber to evacuate from the small intestine leaving more fermentables there for gas, bloating, and distention." This trapped gas also worsens constipation.

Was very intrigued and excited by colostrum. But It appears the colostrum is dairy based. So for someone like me who suffers from autoimmune issues, systemic inflammation, gut issues and also more intense gut issues now due to long haul COVID, and who is also allergic to dairy, is there anything you can recommend that would have the same healing benefits as colostrum that is not dairy based?
@foreverinbluejeans
2 жыл бұрын
@@guthealer Thank you for responding. I am not lactose intolerant, I have an actual allergy to the proteins in dairy. And since colostrum is a bovine product and contains milk proteins it wouldn’t be advisable for anyone with a dairy allergy to take colostrum.

I have never tried a colostrum supplement, but perhaps this is what I am missing. I have tried so many other supplements including Ginger and garlic and probiotics, etc.. to help with digestive problems. Also, I already follow good nutrition practices to prevent or help with leaky gut, except using colostrum.

I know I don't get enough fiber. Never used colostrum but I know it's so important for baby calfs , when we buy baby's then do quick give it a bottle of the momma cows colostrum. Otherwise they die or are really sickly when you try and put it on your own cow that is a dairy cow because it isn't the same milk no colostrum. I do take a pre and probiotic to try and heal my gut ...but I need more. 😫 I would love to do the colostrum and see how that works.

There are many other videos I’ve seen on here where women discuss their experience with SIBO, and how a vegan diet actually significantly worsened it. So they had to resort back to eating foods they’d be eliminating in order to get certain nutrients naturally from those food sources instead of from a supplement.

Was never breastfed and I can remember taking that pink antibiotic often as a kid. I deal with post nasel drip allergies, just got over strep with antibiotics and I've had IBS most of my life. Will that much fiber hurt my stomach? My IBS tummy can sometimes have a hard time with extra fiber and protein. I've never tried collustrum.

if there's sibo and leaky gut. Which one shall be addressed first? In my head, if you heal your gut but then use natural antibiotics to get rid of the excess of bacteria later on... it would be a waste of effort and money coz the process of healing the gut will have to start again afterwards.

Absolutely, @niamhbyrne4036! Colostrum can be a great supplement for boosting immunity and overall health, even if you don't consume dairy products. Colostrum supplements are typically derived from bovine (cow) or other mammalian sources and are processed to remove lactose and other dairy components. Just be sure to check the ingredients list to ensure it's suitable for your dietary preferences. Thanks for reaching out with your question!
