Totally agree with you. I will be retiring in suncity SC, and will be my daily driver. No brainer…getting gas onward (aluminum frame)

In the real world who wants to listen to a gas cart run. Ive got a 160 ah lithium battery. Its powerful and quiet and can travel 60 to 70 miles on a single charge easily. 15 miles riding a golf cart is a long way. Plus if you want a LSV it must be electric by law..

Can you add an extra battery to improve range?
@sloanwhitaker8615
Жыл бұрын
Theoretically yes. A lot of people run two 105AH batteries side by side in Club Cars because that gives them a total of 210AH which is quite a lot (Close to 80 miles per charge depending on the cart, motor, controller, speed, weight, etc, etc). I mention Club Car specifically because they have a ton of room under the seat where the battery sits. The batteries can be quite large though so if your cart has the room for two, it'll more than likely only fit two square sized batteries (typically 105ah).

Nobody! What's nice about having such long range is that you don't have to fill the gas tank up very often or charge your cart very often! Just keep using it!

What if you plan the electric and use lithium batteries, 300 watt panel on the roof with a good mppt charger?

It's takes a lot of square footage of solar panels and a perfect day for them to produce a good amount of energy and in terms of a golf cart sized roof, you wouldn't really notice that big of a difference in range especially for the amount of money it costs for that setup. I'm not saying it won't help your range if the cart sits outside all day, but there's a lot of variables.

Whats the best VALUE gas golf cart in 2023?
@sloanwhitaker8615

Thanks for the comment! So that's a FULLY loaded question because certain carts are better for certain applications. My short answer is that a Lifted Club Car Onward or Yamaha Quietech is by far the best value cart you can buy right now. If you're more interested in superior handling, soft ride, not as much speed, and you'd like a quieter ride, the Quietech is your answer. If you want more speed, more torque, more of a Off Road inspired look, feel, performance, the Onward is your answer.

@@bacartsvw I’m looking at a Linhai crossfire 200 a new one. But I don’t know if it’s decent or junk or? My budget is $6K.

@@FDRGREG A 2010 Gas Club Car or Yamaha will last 4X longer than that Linhai Crossfire. $6k is very, very cheap for a new gas golf cart, especially with all of the features I see on that crossfire thing. I would not buy that if I was you, because you'll more than likely regret spending $6k on that versus buying a pre-owned Yamaha or Club car.

I’m now looking at an ez go 2019 with 400cc Kawasaki engine. I think it’s a txt. It looks pretty immaculate but have not seen it in person yet. He is asking $6,800. I’m thinking decent deal if it looks and runs like he says. Gasoline I have to have 2017 or above in the neighborhood due to antibackfire something.
