Hi Matt. This is Paul. I just wanted to thank you for this great video. I knew my throat felt a little awkward when I went from chest to head voice, but didn't know what to do about it. I'll definitely be doing these exercises. However I'm wondering if you can share a vocal exercise that I can do to sustain longer vibrato vocal notes. At the present time I can sustain a note with a vibrato for 6 seconds, maybe 7 seconds if I'm lucky. I'd be grateful if you could give me an exercise to extend my notes to 10 seconds or longer. Thank you so much for your time & keep up the great work!

Thanks. These are good videos. Informative and still fun. And yeah, I’m there trying to hit some high notes. Hard to know/feel how much the vocal cords muscles are actually stressing.

Great tips! May I ask what if our voice just sort of disappears when the notes get too high? I can only feel plenty of "pressure" on my head, just that no sound is coming out. It only reappears once it comes down into my comfortable range. How do we improve on this issue?
@huss2600

If you mean it goes to air? Then add a yawning sensation in the back of the throat. Add a slight 'h' as you sing higher.

hey matt big fan, i have a question, i’ve developed my chest voice quite a bit but how do i know when to start moving on to using head voice? they say that if you start using head voice too early you could potentially lose notes on your chest. so how do i know when i’m ready ? i’ve expanded my chest far enough to where i’m almost in a mix voice at high notes.
@ramseyvoicestudio
