Here are 3 different designs using the new SPIKE Prime kit. There was a problem when rendering where the color sensors came out transparent with a ring---sorry.
Brooo THATS Sickkkk My team were thinking about a cool design thats functional and versatile and the 3rd one fits perfectly its sooo nice...Thx bro

can you please put a building instructions in the description? It was hard to follow but nice robots.

That second robot uses 4 motors, 1 ultrasonic sensor, and 2 (I assume) light sensors which means you'd have to leave something unplugged at all times. Other than that, these are really great designs and would make for very competitive FLL robots.

C'est normal qu'il a 4 moteurs c'est parce que il a acheté un deuxième parce

Agreed. This design would require 7 ports, but the Spike hub only provides 6.

Super cool and helpful. My beginning team needs inspiration. Question about the use of wheels in the front instead of the roller balls. Do you find that the wheels can cause variance in turns due to friction? Why not use the balls?

@David Fitch, I find that since the thin wheels don't have a rubber tire, they don't cause too much friction, however, they can caught on bumps underneath the mat when turning. The main reason I use wheels for some designs is because they save much more space and they are better at driving over missions, such as ramps, than ball casters; but if the robot is not driving over any mission pieces, and if your robot does have adequate space, ball casters drive much smoother.

That's so cool. Your works are just brilliant👍🏻which programming software is used in order to make this video?

@Nasimi Kamilzada , thank you so much. I used Studio2.0(www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/download.page) to make the rotating renders.

@@brickwise8624 are these models made with just one Spike Prime set? Or you used expansion set as well, I'm looking for some this kind of advance models with only one set, cause most Spike Models looks easier, where could I find if it's not build with one set? THANKS IN ADVANCE 🙏🏻

Great video. What program did you use for the assembly and exploded views?

@Zion Russell, I rendered the assembly using bricklink Studio2.0, and created multiple renders and changed the opacities to show an exploded view.

what cad software did you use ti render the robots? Because the one my team uses haven't released the motors, sensors, or brick. Also love the third model.😅

@AstroBruins FLL, I use studio2.0, and yes, the SPIKE prime pieces haven't been introduced yet. but I found this Facebook page that created their own custom pieces to include the SPIKE prime kit. Hope this helps. facebook.com/groups/SPIKEcommunity/permalink/866499770394923/

Look man ! Your ideas are great and all, but they don't work ! Try doing some programming on one of them robots you built and you will see they are not making constant turns or even go forward the same distance. I recommend adding ball-casters in your builds ! Precisely at the back of the robots so you can add some traction power to them.
