Hi Kimmana, thank you very much for your wealth of ayurvedic wisdom. It is a relief to find someone that speaks english and can go into great depth about Ayurveda as you do. I am just finishing a three week Panchakarma at Punarnava Ayurvedic Hospital, the largest in North India and what stood out for me is that I have to live more intelligently to avoid the ama build up.. I look forward to hearing more of the videos of you and Zia. Who was your ayurvedic teacher(s? I am sharing your videos to thousands on my Facebook page

Summary of treatment: 1. Treating of your agni type. 2. Align with the natural cycles by sleep early and waking early and exercise when sun rises. This is super powerful to increase agni and remove ama. 3. Sip hot ginger tea all day long. A weak ginger tea. These are generalised tips.

As I have ever found in my experience. Taking too much form of vitamin E(tocopheryl acetate,etc),fragrance(except for 100% essential oil) from the soap seems to increase my Ama.-*- As I ever notice, if we can make soap with some oil with have carminative properties, It will benefit us a lot to remove ama but must use variety type of them. for example, Avocado oil, Sesame Oil ,Lemongrass Oil,Rosemary Oil Also, some oil should be avoid when you are high in ama for example,Neem Oil,Eucalyptus Oil,Laurel Oil, Cocoa butter

Got a question for us? Submit your Q here www.holisticnomads.com/ask, and we'll answer it in our future video. If you still insist to submit your Q in the comment section, unfortunately, we're unable to answer it due to several factors: 1. We believe that if one person has a question in their mind, many others are possibly thinking the same question too. Which is why we'd like to make sure that the answer that we give in regards to your question, can also benefit others. 2. With the finite amount of time and energy that we have, we'd like to make sure that whatever we put out there can reach its highest potential. 3. We'd like to avoid as much miscommunication and misunderstanding for other's learning process. Therefore, responding to your Q in a short, written form, will most likely limit the quality of our answer. Which then can affect your learning process. 4. Answering your Q in the comment section wouldn't be searchable for others. It will be a different case if the answer to your Q is recorded in the form of KZitem video, with its own title and SEO-friendly caption. Which is why the best way for us to answer your question is through the format of KZitem video (like this one). This way, not only we can answer your question thoroughly, but others can also benefit from your curiosity. Therefore, please submit your question at this form here www.holisticnomads.com/ask. We’ll hold regular Q & A episode where we'll answer your Q, like this one kzitem.info/door/PLz5zy-KK6vk2zYiAweNvnU1AO2m1Yxm8J Also, If you haven't subscribed, make sure to do so, so you'll be notified when your questions get answered. Thank you.

I have tikshna agni..is it ok to drink jinger for me ? Isn't it heating me..i have high pitta
@askkimmana

If you have tikshna agni then herbs like guduchi or formulas like avipattikar may be more ideal for you but unlikely that ginger will aggravate strongly if combined with other herbs that are beneficial for pitta. Ginger will still help to remove Ama. The formula avipattikar is an example of that as it contains ginger and other pitta increasing herbs but helps to remove pitta and ama in the combination of herbs.

@@askkimmana guduchi ,isn't it heating more ? Please reply
@askkimmana
10 ай бұрын
@@shasithanavod4692 Yes Guduchi is gently warming. As your question is under the video of treating Ama, it is important to select medicines that have warming (opening channels of circulation and allowing the ama to be digested and removed), bitter, and pungent properties to them in order to remove Ama. Guduchi has all these properties and is considered the best medicine for pitta related ama because although it is gently warming, it improves liver function and allows "trapped heat" to be removed from the system. "trapped heat" is often what is happening when ama and pitta are both high. Guduchi is even used for pitta related conditions like fever and hot skin diseases as well. If this still does not make sense or feel right for your body then it may be best to book a consultation where a formula could be individualised for your specific situation

@@shasithanavod4692 Hi Shasitha, As this is an educational platform and we can not give personal advice here we recommend that you book a consultation so that you can receive the individual health advice that you need and discover the deeper causes behind your imbalances because taking Guduchi may only relieve symptoms and not discover or treat the underlying causes. You can join the waiting list for consultation's here: www.kimmana.com/waiting-list However, if we are just referring to the education on Guduchi. It is best taken as a decoction. Boiling 1 to 2 tsp in 1 to 2 litres of water for 20 to 30min. Allow it to settle for 5min then pour the liquid into a thermos and drink the liquid over the day between meals. As Guduchi is bitter it would ideally be mixed with other herbs to make it more pleasant and also effective. For helping with Ama and burning sensations herbs like amalaki, sariva, and licorice may be suitable. To make effective herbal formulas these would be added in much smaller ratios, 1/4 tsp of less, than the main herb. In this case guduchi would be the main herb. If you are unsure of where to purchase quality organic herbal products then I would recommend www.vitalitynow.co Wishing you health and prosperity, Kimmana
