This 3-Step walking exercise can help you walk more softly, more fluidly, and with more confidence. This is a brief cut of my Rock Your Way to Better Walking exercise video, focusing entirely on the exercise itself.
Whatever your walking problem, this simple practice can help. Bring your forward heel down and your rear heel up by engaging your core correctly to trigger the heel rocker. Then level out your pelvis for a gentle foot placement using your lower abs. Finish off with a controlled forward lift. Then start the cycle over. This practice will train better posture, low impact foot placement, and a fluid swing through. You will improve the coordination between your upper body and your lower body. Create better body memory that will make your walking more fluid, more confident, and lower impact.
Part 1: Lowering the Heel Softly
Part 2: Engaging the Lower Abs to shift the weight to the flat of the foot
Part 3: Lifting up to complete the swing through
Then repeat the sequence on the other side for fluid walking technique.

Mastering this technique will help you reduce back pain, hip, knee, and foot issues.
