I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the real-ness, I’ve tried so hard to keep up with these fit influencers who have tons of money without a typically 9-5 and it’s just not possible anymore. This is sooo helpful for us “real” people trying to look/feel our best, please don’t ever change ❤️

Preach Brittany!!! I love cheese but I’m lactose intolerant and now Cabot makes lactose free cheese:) there’s tons of ways to still enjoy dairy without feeling crummy!! And btw the busy mom life things like deli meats are awesome!!! Quick, easy and delicious!! Haters are gon hate. Too bad they’re missing out on delicious food!!

Britt, thank you!! This week I’m starting to increase my protein intake and I’m changing up my workouts to include more cardio. I needed this reminder. Thank you for explaining how protein doesn’t have to been stressful, just make small subtle changes! And just try to include protein in each meal.🥰❤️

A tasty protein treat I saw someone make was just adding protein powder to your Greek yogurt. I like to use my Tone peanut butter chocolate protein powder and drizzle some peanut butter on top. Maybe sprinkle in some chocolate chips. I also have a peanut butter granola that I'll sprinkle on top.

Love all these options! Do carbs in any of these foods scare you? Sometimes I’ll grab protein packed items and once I notice the carb totals, it gives me cause to pause.

Finally KZitem recommends an awesome video! A freaking real person. I have 3 small kids so fancy foods, all organic, all the extra stuff just isn't in the budget. I can't make a thousand different meals for me and my kids and my husband. I'm staying for more!

Me!!! I drink cow's milk!! I used to try abd use almond or coconut milk to he healthy and was ok with it for a while but I cannot eat eggs or avocados so dairy has been a source of proteins and fats for me. Organic whole milk is delicious! Oh and half n half in my coffee 🔥 so much better than the fake stuff. No weird chemical tastes lol. Sometimes I even cook with real cream which is delicious and there's almost no suitable substitute for! And a little goes a long way so you usually only need a splash here and there. Oh and cooking with butter is delicious too. I use olive oil where I can but butter is a better flavor. I have even grated a bit off of a cold stick over veggies to roast in the oven. SO good!

My current fave is chilli biltong!! Can’t have it everyday but it’s such an easy, low cal snack that will bump your protein intake up by like 20g. I just make sure I don’t eat too much salt in my other meals, which isn’t much of a problem for me anyway!

Yesss. Love tuna. I mix it with nonfat greek yogurt, kimchi, and black pepper. And eat it with veggies (cucumbers and bell peppers) or rice cakes. So yummy.

My fav is the nonfat Greek yogurt, I use it to make my parfait in the mornings, people at work think I’m crazy because I eat a parfait almost every morning. But you are right everyone is at a different point in life. We are just not on the same level & that’s ok 😊

Omg thank you for the food talk! I eat so much cheese and had the same thoughts like a year ago that i needed to cut out dairy and literally can’t stop. We eat cheese and crackers every weekend like simple charcuterie board. Life is too short to not eat cheese 😂

For the deli meat, it really isn’t an issue as long as you moderate it for it’s sodium content. It is a great source of protein tho, lol. People need to relax a bit.

Dude yes to real milk lol. I use almond milk for smoothies just bc the whey + milk would be a lot of dairy for me, but almond milk is BASICALLY water. Milk gang
