Glad to see this series starting now. Had to go to another barber because my regular barber's on a time-out for some period. Wanted to go for a shorter beard kinda like Carlos Costa. But this new barber fkd up. Now I have an uneven neckline and my cheekline, that I worked so hard for, is destroyed. So I'm pretty much starting again from scratch. But this time I will apply all the tips I learned from beardbrand. And I will never cut my beard again.

Not a fan of this one... here's some constructive criticism for y'all! Exfoliate, hell yes! Wash... obviously 🙄... shampoo (but not yet??!?) how about moisturize with either beard oil and/or balm, and brush with the boars bristle (which also exfoliates)? Adding that to your daily routine can really help in the itchy stage, which is about to get nasty after week one. I feel like this video lacked focus. Still love you beardbrand. Cheers and grow on!

It must be mentioned that not everyone will have the same growth at the end of week 1. Some more. Some less. A lucky few with a lot more. A few who have slow starters. Mine didn't look like yours until week 2. Thankfully, I have a natural beard line on my cheek, so I don't have to worry about that so much.

I actually used to deal with that issue a bit myself, you have a few options, as the hair begins to come in on your chin, you can direct it to cover the spot where hair doesn't grow. Your other option (and this one is harder) is to wait it out. The hair DOES eventually come in, it just may not do it right now. - Jack

@0v3rgr0wn
6 жыл бұрын
MaDavid ! oil and balm is perfectly ok for everyday use. I recommend showering in the morning and applying after the shower. I would recommend only using a wash on your beard once-twice a week. I personally just use African black soap. After you wash, apply oil and balm. I shower everyday in the morning, but on days I don’t wash, I just use the water from the shower to rinse out my hair and beard.

Definitely not trying to suggest over washing your beard. It really comes down to what type of hair you grow. If it's thick and very oily, then washing it more often may be more beneficial. Also, didn't want to make it look like I was just simply pushing Beardbrand products with this; the wash/softener really did make an enormous difference in the condition of my beard so I just wanted to pass on some info about some awesome stuff! By watching this channel, we don't only learn about beard knowledge and style, we also learn about the people who teach us. There's an image the viewers begin to portray, the one you guys create. And James? He portrays a fake bravado and a false image, he's not being his confident self, so it comes out forced and cringey. That's all, I won't hate anymore, I love this brand.

Because some people understand one phrase and some people understand the other, so he says both so that everyone knows what he means.
