Never thought about telling ramp guys about how to properly chalk my AP. Thanks for tip.

Ya know i gotta say. The lowering fairing is connected to the wheel. Meaning when the suspension compresses its not going to move as its connected below where the strut would lower not above.

but the tyre can compress with more weight .

I have a fetish for TMB's and don't know why. I've flown a hand full of jets but never a TBM. Lord willing, I hope to one day. This is all good information I had no idea. Well, I knew that prop was close to the ground. Thanks for sharing :))))

Great tips, wished TBM would address these issues though!!!

Has TBM considered longer landing gear? Sounds like a no-brainer.

My company is considering a TBM as opposed to a PC-12. Seems most of the flight department wants a PC-12 and this just makes me lean more towards Pilatus with the prop clearance. We fly out of a region where snow and uneven runways can be a factor. I am going to bring this up.

If you’re concerned about prop strikes due to runway contamination and uneven surfaces, I would agree. The TBM and PC-12 are built for different missions and right plane is the one that best fits the primary mission.

PC12 is way way better than a TBM...crazy not to get one over a TBM

It needs six blade smaller prop🙂

What is the cost for fuel on reverse propeller over the length of brake pad. If it is creeper to use the breaks then the enviroment will not see the impact of fuel burning. I am a analyist and I look at all sides of the deal.

Seem to be more loss of control accidents than say Piper. Maybe because of the small tail? Sacrificing some stability for speed?

flew a 700c great plane but even after 200 hrs in it was a challenge to get a good landing..its heavy and the oleo struts are substandard..if it had Trailing link it would be a much better plane.

TBM hits props too much, it needs trailing edge landing gear

Flew a 700C...yes its fast, fun, certainly capable ..but overall don't care for it...needs trailing link..
