I mean the switch is essentially a plug and play system for a lot of games. Some games obviously have DLC or updates, but you can usually play the game off the cartridge unless it's one of the annoying releases where you get a download code for some of the games, or it requires a download because they didn't want to fit the whole game on the cart.

I can see there being a market for a new cartridge based system. I think mostly from people who either grew up or like the experience of the older PS2 and before consoles that are plug and play. An example of there being an audience for gaming experiences from the past is locally to me an arcade opened up. It is run by a collector that has been collecting pinball machines since the 70s and video game arcades for around 6 years. Alot of people come to play games from the past or play in tournaments. I even see some kids playing too and seem interested in experiences from the past. Sorry I wrote a book 😂

I almost never find anything good at yard sales but my wife loves them. What I do for her is compile all the listings and addresses from Facebook Craig’s list be the online section of th local paper. Then I pin them on google earth so I can set the optimum path between sales. People almost never sell anything gaming related here but about ten years ago I lucked out and got a game cube and games for free. One game Chibi Robo sells for over two hundred bucks and most of the rest are now in the 40 to 50 range.
