The biggest question of all that not many people will touch/address. The main thing for people not quitting their job especially in USA is health insurance. Health insurance is what is holding most people on their job. Especially if you are over 50 as I am. You definitely touched on this. Thank you. It looks like that’s why most people are looking outside of the USA so they can afford healthcare after they leave these jobs. Blessings to all.
@StephaniePerry
2 жыл бұрын
You're welcome. And blessings. For anyone else with this question, I talked about that at 14:55 My solution is to go to a country where healthcare is not tied to my employment status. That's basically any country except for the United States of America. Residency in Costa Rica will give me access to a less expensive, more inclusive healthcare system. Private insurance ($1400/ year) + low cost healthcare. In the US an MRI can cost $2500. In Costa Rica an MRI is $400. So even if I didn't have residency in Costa Rica, I would get insurance and pay for the difference out of pocket.
@melinatedroyaltytv
2 жыл бұрын
That's a good question I used to ask too. Thankful for Ms. Perry's touching on this topic. I also found out before that some private insurance listed U.S. marketplace is income-based. Some people who transitioned to working from home may start off not making as much as their job, so the price of some health insurance seems like the "section 8" ins., where it's usually expensive, you're only paying much less if your income is less than a certain amount. Of course, it can increase after you've increased past that threshold and varies according to state, marital status, family, etc.

I am in my early 40s. One child. Currently employed for 10yrs. Renting. Credit qualifies for home purchase. Money saved in the bank, yet possible homelessness could be real by the end of THIS month due to being unable to find a home to buy in the last 2yr's Seller's market and also being unable to find affordable housing as a single woman in the world. Been praying and crying and crying and praying for a breakthrough. (Crying while typing this, actually, too...lol) This is the 2nd video of yours that I have watched and you are very encouraging. How much do you pay each month in rent, # bed/bath, and how expensive is the area? It does not always make sense to buy especially because the pandemic has given rise to a housing bubble in many US metropolitan markets. It may make sense to rent and save in a HYSA / invest. Look up compound interest calculator.

My husband and I are stuck, we cannot just pick up. Hi Stephanie, you all did an amazing job with the ExodUS Summit. Although most of you ladies are out of my league, I am truly inspired. Keep it up my sisters. I absolutely loved it and will glean so much from all the downloads, etc. I am embarking on my own journey and have moved past my fears and now have great expectations. Thanks so much!

Thank + You doesn't even come close to how grateful I am for you and your content. I'm starting over from ground zero at 60 (61 in a couple of weeks) with everything - getting my life back after years of being a parental caregiver, getting my finances back in order, traveling... everything. Yesterday, I received your Work From Anywhere Toolkit and I'm on day 2 of your Work From Anywhere Challenge. I'm applying the strategies from the toolkit effective immediately, because I'm going to re-build my "nest egg" that I lost to caregiving, but this one is going to be bigger than the one I lost. HUGE shoutout + thanks to you, Stephanie!!! 😘(Also, extra thank you sauce on the side for including older women in your content creation. TY)🙌👏

Career Redirection is how I want to describe the break away from a job. It gives the career owner or worker of a job, direct ownership and financial management of their lives.
