So I am sharing 3 tiffin box recipes with you that the children will absolutely love.
These tiffin box recipes are healthy & tasty too!
I have also shared with you ideas on how to pack a school tiffin box.
A tiffin box should always have a filling food dish, a fruit and a sweet treat for the kids to enjoy!

These 3 tiffin boxes are:
1. Korean rice balls, banana, tutti fruity cupcakes
2. Soya burger, Orange segments, peanut butter coconut truffles
3. Egg Roll, apple, dates & nut laddu

Soya Burgers
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
100 g Soya Granules soaked in warm water
2 Tbsp bread crumbs
2 Tbs. chopped fresh coriander
2 Tbsp Ketchup
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp. Chili Powder
4 cheese slices
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp black pepper powder
4 burger buns
Lettuce leaves,
tomato slices, cucumber slices, onion slices and butter as required
Method:
Drain the soya granules and squeeze out the water. In a large bowl combine the soya burgers, onion, garlic, bread crumb, ketchup, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and chill for 15 minutes. Form into burgers and fry in a small amount of oil, or in a nonstick pan with oil, over medium heat.
Toast a burger bun, spread butter top with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, patty and cheese.
Egg Rolls
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
2 Eggs
Atta Dough
Sliced tomatoes
Sliced onions
Sliced ccucumber
Salt to taste
Red chili flakes
4 tsp Oil
Ketchup
Green chutney
Method:
Roll out two 10” large rotis. Cook on a tawa with a little oil.
Break the eggs in a bowl. Add, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp red chili flakes and beat well.
Add a little oil to the pan. Pour the batter in the pan. spread the batter all over the pan. place the roti over it and press down. Cook till the eggs are well cooked. Remove the roti. Spread a little ketchup over it. Cut cheese slices into half. Place in the center and roll into a tight roll.
Korean Rice balls
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 cups soft boiled rice
½ cup chopped carrots
½ cup chopped mushrooms
½ cup chopped spinach
1 tsp red chili flakes
Salt to taste
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
1 tbsp black sesame seeds
2 tsp oil
Method:
Heat the oil in the pan. Add the chopped mushroom and spinach and sauté till the vegetables are cooked.
Had the boiled rice, salt, chilli flakes and mix well. Add the sesame seeds.
Cool a bit and then shape balls out of the prepared mixture.
Roll the balls in a little more sesame seeds and serve.
