I was thinking last week that it would be so helpful if Luis would do an email series or a podcast on sleep. Serial insomniac here. This session today provides me with the information and strategies for deep, restorative sleep. Thank you! My question is in regsards to no electric lights 2 hours before going to bed. With the absence of bright light to journal or read, whatever, will I do? Sit with myself for 2 hours? This feels so necessary and so so big.

The electric lights are a powerful part of this. I've had so many clients transform their inability to sleep just by doing this. You can use candle light or soft, warm lights from himalayan salt lamps for example and still read or journal. Or you can enjoy just doing nothing like you're suggesting.

LOVE the new intro, so resourcing and empowering to your work Love the distinctions and the way you presented them, I haven't heard those this way before, feels intuitively so true to me. Thanks so much Luis 💟

I really like this material. I have taken sleeping pills for 10 plus years and I’m trying to get off them. I usually sleep good every other day now. I will try to get by without caffeine right away. I love to get up with the sun Your content reminds me of camping in a tent with no electricity. It’s something I love!! Thank you!!

I have also been trying to stop sleeping spills. My sensations are very high so it is difficult to sleep.. And also the sleeping pills don’t work as well. I did not increase them and I got off antidepressants 4 years go. I have been implementing your rules here. But sleep is difficult with this high activated body. I learned from you how to become regular, bowel movement is regular now. I am taking your nutrition course. And took your 7 weeks course How can get back sleeping. How can I get off of sleeping pills. I sleep about 5 hours waking up 1-2 times. Thank you fir your help

I live in Eastern Europe and at the moment sunrise is at 5 am, which I guess is acceptable as a time to get up, but soon it will be 4 am. I can't imagine going through the day after getting up at 4 am.

It doesn't have to be sunrise, that's just ideal.

I want to acknowledge Luis' wizardly ability to provide a LOT of golden nuggets in between these "Three Simple Tips" in a short 15 minutes of calming, easeful online presence. Totally aligned with both yogic and modern sciences to master your sleep/life/mind. Haha, I think many words would fit there. I see you.... PS - Grateful for inclusion of the indispensable tip #4

I naturally tend to wake up with the sunrise or slightly before, but what would you suggest for someone with a disability who isn’t able to get outside to walk at that time?

This new video series is golden, as is everything you post! I'd love to hear about collective or large scale trauma responses. I was just thinking about earthquakes today and I was wondering if there are any parallels between the way the earth shakes and how animals shake when coming out of freeze... Are earthquakes a planetary level trauma response?! 🫠 haha just a thought!
