I'm a wedding planner/blogger. My business name is Weddings From The Heart, and my tagline is "For A Day Your Heart Will Never Forget." I've often wondered if I should change to a shorter tagline, but keep coming back to this one because I really like it.

Thank you! I think I have just decided on adding a tag line instead of trying to refigure my whole business name! Rebecca Hempe, Creating Memories One Stitch at a Time. Im a seamstress who works with wedding gown alterations, design and make Christening gowns from wedding gowns and other items and I also have expanded to include machine embroidery to my business. I think one of the best reviews and compliments I received was from a client who said, “her mom, grandmother and herself started to cry when they opened the box that contained the Christening gown I made for her young daughter”.

Going over the different taglines and providing examples of each were very helpful. As for "how to create them," you provided tips, but I still wouldn't know "how to create them" just going solely off this video. Thanks again !

Great video. I don't know if this is precisely what you were referring to, but I've used: "Believe in yourself, and achieve your writing dreams." It currently says those words on my homepage. I use variations throughout my social media posts, such as: "Believe in yourself and your dreams," and "Keep believing." But this refers mainly to the fact that my blog posts offer writing craft tips and inspiration. I also have to tweak my messaging about what I write myself, in terms of my fiction and poetry - in itself, not easy to define. I think I have to keep honing my messaging, but only in terms of finding the best taglines to clearly express what I do. 😀❤

I'm not a lawyer, so take this all with a grain of salt! Though, whenever I'm naming something, I do a search on the US trademark database to see if it's already been in use. I believe you can pay a few hundred dollars to register a word/phrase trademark. tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=searchss&state=4810:6zam6z.1.1

Hi, thank you for the great video! What do you think of the following tagline options? 1. The Experience Caramel Company 2. The Caramel Experience Company ? Thanks again!

Jeff, I would suggest to do what what you love. Whether in the music or carpentry industry. Here are a few things I have learned along the way. 1. You cant expect results “sales” overnight. 2. It takes months maybe years to gain a reputation for good and reliable work. 3. Make sure your customer service is top notch. I hate when someone doesn’t even have the courtesy to respond back with a simple yes or no. 4. Have past customers right a review. Good or bad, learn from your mistakes and improve next time. 5. Fake it until you make it. Continue working at your “paying” job(s) until you can step out into your dream job!

@@rebeccahempe6699 what do I love, music or carpentery? Both. Carpentery is seasonal ,music is normally Friday night into Saturday day or night. While in college worked a grocery store for 6.5 years learned customer service. I take pride in my work, my motor is don't ever think it say good enough. Give the customer more or at least their money work Fake it in finish would show gaps hung cooked or other, my standards are high,my website has more calls from all over the US, lot from Texas, southern areas along the east coast, plus SW region of America few mid west. Very few from my operating area. Google has tied to put a filter on my site it does very little, after google said they tried had 2 calls from Las Vegas in a 1/2 hour a job of in Florida one in Boston area Illinois contracting company as well I started off replicating auto interiors dash or custom made plus consoles, then entertainment center book cases built INS , lot more. Several property managers have called to do o the work as their maintenance person didn't have the skill.levrl. one called me up hired me to work on his house before 2e even met. It is true do what you like it's not a job it's a career. I look forward to doing the project or the next project. I arrive around 7am my lunch is 5 minutes then back to work, stay until late 8 or 9pm worse yet the homeowner runs me off....
