Yeah, I dislike modern videos now. They add tons of different colored text that move around the screen, loads of sound affects for every little thing, some type of switch in the video every 4 seconds (Text pop up, sound affect, change video angle,etc). I know its meant to catch eyes but cmon in 50 years everyone will have a lower attention span than an 5 year old asian kid on a candy crush

I would like to show this to some young people but they do not have the habits of drinking or smoking weed. Can you make another version, but not mention the vices so as not to influence them either way? There are ton’s of bad habits that might be examples; neglecting to brush your teeth, messiness (home, bedroom, car), resisting studying.

I definitely have been on this self improvement journey for a while and have been constantly been trying to compound more information. I’ve also been personally meditating for about 40 days and implementing habits you have recommended, but the solitude one really hit me. I’ve never really thought about it as a good thing; but now when you explain it I can see how it’s so beneficial. Now that I’m also able to control my thoughts a little more, I can see how being in solitude can be a great way of growth like you said and I think it’s just amazing how you talking about it in this video has made me come to that conclusion. Tbh, this is my 3rd time watching you but you are definitely one of my top KZitemrs now. Thank you

Very good video by young man full of insights learned by experience. I am several months into improving my health and wealth and it going better and better and I am feeling more resolve and drive as I feel successful results and becoming more open to new thinking that resonate with me. I feel it is all about being the best you can be, doing the best you can all the time. Take life seriously and solve all your problems and not letting anything stop you. Life becomes very exciting when I am fully engaged. I do meditation, exercise, diet, fasting and now I like to do more selfinquiery and emotional work. I live in Thailand and much in solitude and I am talking to myself out loud quite often, it is good. Very good work with your videos, I will check out many of them for inspiration and empowering ideas. Keep up your good work as a Life Coach. ❤

Yo man thanks for the video, I’ve actually been looking into implementing good habits; I’ve been trying meditating and journaling every day for the last two months, and I feel they help me a lot with pent up emotions and letting my emotions tell their story to me. I’m going to try the talking to myself about the day habit because it sounds… nice I guess. I’m also trying to work on avoiding feeling bored and rather peaceful at times I am just with myself. I appreciate your videos man keep it up I can definitely say I’m being positively influenced by them! 👾👾

Your comment is awesome and you appear to be on the right track. I read the book Atomic Habits and the best thing I got out of it about forming better habits is something called Habit Stacking. For instance, we all have some habits, such as taking a shower, brushing our hair, brushing our teeth, even putting on our clothes and shoes. The trick to starting new habits is to stack the new habits on with the ones you already have. So if you are picking out your clothes in the morning, because you are at your closet, near your bed, incorporate the habit of quickly making your bed. So you walk into your room, straighten out your bed, then get your clothes out of drawers or the closet and put them on the bed to get dressed. When you brush your teeth, after you are done, clear the counter or sink area by putting any products in their place and then wipe down the sink or counter with a wipe. It seriously doesn’t even take 90 seconds to add these habits. Time yourself, you will not believe how quickly they get done, and clear your mind for clearer thinking. Also, make a small list of the daily habits you already have, of the daily habits you want, and see where the new habits can stack with the old habits. GOOD LUCK 😊 your awareness in 90% of the battle.

Is meditating right before (or meditating myself to sleep) the same or wil it have the same affect as normally meditating during the day?
@03giacomo
Жыл бұрын
Do whatever works for you, it should have the same effect no matter when you do it. I do recommend doing it during the day if you can though because being tired can impair your focus, but that's not always the case.

i cant seem to meditate at all, due to past trauma and other negative events i don't want to remember. can i just go on a walk? would that count?
@03giacomo
Жыл бұрын
Walking can be meditative, if you focus on your leg movements. The whole point of meditation is to be in the present moment. I would definitely say you should keep trying to meditate though, if there are traumatic thoughts just return focus back to your breath. You shouldn't run from these thoughts, that only gives them more power. Its up to you though man, much love.
