Thanks for this video! A book that has really inspired me to live a more authentic and unapologetic life is The Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes.

First time I've heard of this book and it's on an issue I've been dealing with recently big time. Thank you, Angelia, for this review - such useful information. Seriously thinking of getting the book.

Another great video, Angel! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Book Recommendation #1: "Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win" by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin This book equipped me with better leadership skills and a sense of personal accountability. I loved it so much I recommended it to my entire AmeriCorps VISTA cohort and created a one-sheet handout for them to refer to. Book Recommendation #2: "Discipline Equals Freedom: Field Manual" by Jocko Willink This book's excellent because it comes across more like a personal diary/scrapbook/poetry chapbook compared to Willink's other books. Lots of practical, quotable passages.

Thank you for making this video and sharing your gifts with the world. Your clarity of vision for yourself and your company is a rare gift. This title reminds me of 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.' It's similar in subject though much shorter.

I'm a recent subscriber and making my through some of your videos. Love this one! I took notes in my journal :) I especially like the part about shadow journaling....putting it all out there to be received and here's the best part....I don't have to go back and read it!! How freeing is that? Never occurred to me to put it out there and then have no responsibility or expectation that I'd have to go back and review it. I like it.

Thanks for sharing this! Love a good book review! A book that has helped me better understand how others think is Everything is F***** by Mark Manson. He goes into the theory of transactional relationships and it really opened my eyes to understand others a bit better.
