Should I eat light, so that I don't feel as heavy during my training? Or should I eat heavy? I find myself sometimes eating a fair amount an hour or two before training, and a lot of the time, I start to feel heavier than usual after a few rounds. Never understood if it's better to keep your energy high by eating a fair amount, or making sure you can move lightly around the ring...

Defo eat light mate!! Boxing is a very intense sport, and eating too much will slow you down. I would recommend a light snack no closer than an hour before training (it obviously depends what food it is) I would recommend fruit like a banana, apple, grapes, anything quick and gives you energy. Or something like a cereal bar, or rice cakes which are much lighter, easy to digest, and gives you energy quick. Otherwise, you could be missing out on lots of progress as you can’t push your muscles as much
