Hey, I'm currently obtaining the data from two temperature sensors and recording them through an sd card, when doing it while having the Arduino connected to my pc via USB, the program runs without any issues. Once the code was uploaded, I tried powering the Arduino with the DC Jack port only, now the data Isn't being logged to the card. What I've come up with is that the connection I got is only 5V (way below the recommended), do you know if it might be the reason the Arduino isn't running appropriately, or could there be other reasons?

The power supply voltage can indeed be a potential reason for the Arduino not running appropriately when powered through the DC Jack port. The Arduino Uno, for example, requires a power supply voltage in the range of 7-12V through the DC Jack port. If you provide a voltage lower than the minimum required, it might not provide enough power for the Arduino and its peripherals to function properly. When the Arduino is connected to your PC via USB, it receives power directly from the USB port, which typically provides 5V. In this case, the Arduino operates within the acceptable voltage range. However, when you power it through the DC Jack port with a voltage lower than the recommended range, it can cause various issues, including unreliable behavior or complete failure.

connect power supply directly to the relays, never power the relay module using 5v pin of arduino

Woahhh...never knw this...Good Job bro..I am currently trying to run a servo motor using ir sensor to make a sanitizer. I gave 3.3v pin to sensor and used 5v pin for the motor. They work fine when I power using the usb port but when I used a 9v charger to the DC Jack, the motor doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

your battery does not provide enough current. So, the servo not working. use a battery with high ampere hour
