According to the AP Ann Williams was paroled in 1980. She skipped out on her parole and was on the lam for years. She was rearrested in Idaho in 1997, legally blind and living in a nursing home. She was caught after applying for social security in her own name. I can find no account of her after she was again imprisoned in 1997. Since being rearrested she has denied killing her sons. At the time it was stated that she would not likely be paroled again because of the precarious state of her health.

What's also disturbing is that women who commit heinous crimes benefit from those Victorian-era stereotypes. Judges/juries' biases tell them women aren't capable of willful evil so they often acquit or give comparatively light sentences to female murderers--especially women who kill their children. It's sick.
@bennu547

Evil can exist in all humans as you well know. I’m also gravitated to cases like these too because women can be evil and murderous too. I think a lot of people wouldn’t even consider that a possibility. In a way that’s dangerous thinking. Like if you wouldn’t consider someone involved in a case to be a murderer just because they’re a woman. Then it turns out it was the woman. That’s what I mean by dangerous thinking or rather dangerous assumptions
@bennu547
2 жыл бұрын
It really is sick. Women get a lighter sentence then men for similar crimes just because they’re women. A crime is a crime. You shouldn’t get a lighter sentence just because you’re a woman. Especially if that woman killed children or any heinous crime towards children. Especially their own Where’s the feminazis’ outrage over the stereotype that women can’t be evil? Where are the karens screeching for more jail time to men then women? Especially for those women who hurt children. Feminism has became a joke

However, I'm thankful for my sister, her boyfriend, my nephew, and, most of all, my husband. I'm also very, very thankful to God for the many blessings that He has given my husband and myself.
