Before the "pandemic" I had made great gains in my yoga practice by supplementing with pilates. The core is the key to opening many gates. From injury and indolence I stopped doing exercise for three months, but now I'm back on the mat, and when I read all the comments complaining about the focus on abs, I figured this workout would be right for me. And it was very good! The only part I couldn't do were the roll-ups, so I cheated by pushing off with my elbows. It will be a good benchmark when I can do those properly. Much thanks.

MY ABS WERE SO SORE!!! For literally 3 days! And I'm already in very good shape!! This workout does not work the arms, legs, back, or butt, but it is FANTASTIC for abdominal and core strength!!!! Extreme ab workout, really really good

Kris, thank you for great feedback, pilates is all about centering, lengthening, stability and control from the center and out. Keeping your arms and legs strong, long and engaged throughout entire workout is the key to success in this particular video. And suddenly it becomes full body workout 🤩 Cheers

Hi Juliette. I live in France and work daily with your videos - this one is my go to one, and I also use the full body pilates series. I just wanted to say "merci" - thank you so very much for putting together this excellent series of exercises. Your positive attitude really keeps me going. All the alterations you offer allow me to replace some exercises that I find too challenging (I'm 50) or do an easier workout when I'm tired - it's important to listen to one's body - and I'm proud of myself when I do the whole routine your offer. So a big thank you for all that you do. It has really helped me out in this Covid time when I don't have access to my regular pilates class. I hope you have a wonderful life and are happy - and safe in these trouble times.

English is my second language so I found French a bit harder than English! Challenge is you need a practice in use! :)) I will definitely check it out!!! I love languages! @@JulietteWooten I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience in French classes. Unfortunately, French teachers often only concentrate on grammar - which is important - but forget students mostly want to communicate in French... Anyway, I've been working with the full body series this week... a step up for me, especially for the longer videos. But I take it easy: I do what I can, or apply the modifications you offer. Like with languages, it's about working out everyday a little - I find 30 minutes perfect for me. It's also about having realistic goals!! Your videos are encouraging and the variations are fun. It's intense enough workout for maintaining a strong core while protecting your back and developing flexibility. Thank you for all the hard work you put in your videos and the editing is superbe as well! Really enjoying your workouts. Thanks. I have one major problem though ...... you say RIGHT when using Left , and vice versa you probably do ir cos of mirror image, but it is confusing ! I often find myself repeating the same side !!

lifting the back off the floor is very dangerous especially for beginners. working abs is 1 thing but working the core is another. Core strength is to keep your back down to prevent injury exposure.

Juliette Wooten , i am so thrilled i found you! I sit on the ipad for a long time watching videos of pilates and other workouts, u are my favorite so sure! I did a 30 min step workout then this 30 min pilates and girl my whole core feels so sore and awesome. i also saved your 10 day body transformation videos. I love your accent and that u get right to the workout. Good job and thanks again.
