I love this recipe. This was my first time making Salisbury steak and it turned out amazing. I was very hesitant of making my own gravy but it was so good. No more can gravy for me.

There is only one genuine “Wus ta” shire sauce and its made by Lea and Perrins in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. The smell from the factory is amazing.

Most of Massachusetts pronounces Worcester as "Wuh-ster". People in Worcester call it "Wis-tah". 🤷🏻

You can Google how to pronounce w Worcestershire, though it is a word rarely pronounced properly. I ask your forgiveness if I have offended you.

Before adding the meat to the gravy, use a stick blender to remove all pieces of onion and mushroom small enough to be invisible and now this recipe is kid friendly

Where in your time zone did you get and measure your dry ingredients out, mix it with your meat with measured wet ingredients with egg, make patties, cut onions and mushrooms in 5 minutes? Even if you cut onions and mushrooms while dealing with the burger cooking at the same time your prep time is way off. Just sautéing the onions and mushrooms adding butter/flour/beef broth and adding the patties back and continuing to cook to 160° puts this dish at 45-50 minutes. I haven’t tasted this dish yet but will say it’s delicious but your prep time is way off.
