Y'all could try to draw a song. Either you could illustrate the feeling of it by giving it a szenery or you could draw some of the lyrics. It's a really good exercise for creativity and random things that you would not draw anyway.

Okay, I'm going to try to make this quick. You're literally such a talented queen. You deserve so much love and attention. This is my first time seeing a video of yours, but I already love you. Your realistic portraits are stunning and just so awesome! I have no talent, but you inspire me in a way that makes me WANT to pick up a pencil and let my hand just glide across paper. I feel a strike of confidence to continue on in art. Moments after watching this video, I started drawing a random picture with pastels. To be honest, my art turned out much better when I cared and I was confident in myself rather than drawing to try and impress other people. When I say that I mean I drew how I felt was right, but sometimes I get false confidence and I start drawing something far too complex to try and impress others of great talent. At this point, I've written too much. I hope to see much more of you in the future. Xox, Ele

I almost never comment on videos, and I've watched plenty of sketchbook tutorials, but something about this one really inspired me to try drawing again. I was expecting perfectly curated color schemes and aesthetically maximized layouts, but instead you showed all of it: the ideas that get left only half-articulated, the sketches that leave something to be desired. That all too relatable frustration made the concepts that did turn out as intended (those paintings- wow!) all the more stunning and awe-inspiring! Seeing the whole process gives me hope that maybe if I keep trying I can one day be as good an artist as you are! Will definitely be subscribing (:

Today I started your 30 ways as a 30day challenge for improvement, an episode per day and I am using the references of this video. For a year I only followed step by step videos and I realized I have learned so little if nothing at all. I felt so disheartened, lost and sad. I watched your video on how to improve my art and I decided to practice by myself. I have studied color theory, composition etc but I lack practical skills. I can follow a tutorial and the result is satisfying but my own paintings turn out weird, flat and displeasing tbh. I want to be able to paint gouache and watercolor landscapes, watercolor, graphite and charcoal portraits, animals and plants and develop my own style. Thank you for the videos and the references you provide under every single one! I can paint/draw and have the reference and your drawing as a "guide" for when I have difficulties, like solving math problems. My first day drawing the 3 portraits was satisfying and somewhat successful! I feel confident and motivated again! Thanks once again Minnie! I am really grateful for you and your channel! ⚘💌
