Note to all who are posting on this thread: I am surprised that people think this is so easy. Even though he is playing instruments in the same family (flutes, double reeds, clarinets, saxes, recorders, etc.) Daron's ability to quickly grab them w/o warming up and remember the subtle fingering differences, the different keys, etc. is what impresses me. But - to all those who would like to try the piece, I can send you a PDF and you can video yourself playing along. (The gauntlet is thrown!)

James Casto What I meant is that I play bassoon, contrabassoon and tenoroon. All of them belong to the bassoon family, so this can be simplified as "I play bassoons". This type of formulation ils far more common with clarinets because the family is wider and less insanely rare than a fucking tenoroon. Now if you don't believe me, go see my videos ; I don't think there is any tenoroon because I only play it at the bassoon ensemble and it does not belong to me, but you'll see a lot of instruments and you'll see I'm not lying. If you read all of this, congratulations ! It must be hard for someone who directly throw random sexual bullshit when he thinks he unraveled a lie with its awesome Sherlock skills, although he actually missed the whole point because he's just a misinformed moron.

After the premier of the piece in my annual Christmas concert, Daron decided to add more instruments, take the total up to 25. Then, in 2014 he did the 30 instruments you see here. I haven't told him yet, but I think he should up it this year. Given that he plays over 100 different WW instruments, it's not a matter of the # of instruments but how to fit them all in this one piece - factoring in all the quick switches. Stay tuned.....

I could never. When I played at my schools graduation I played oboe and clarinet and it was so hard not to squeak when I went to clarinet then hard to get sound out when I got to oboe

Hey all you Wild and Crazy Woodwind Fans and Players! Thanks to all the comments and views here, I have dared Daron to take the WW CHALLENGE at this year's "A Kurt Bestor Christmas" on Dec 14-16th in Salt Lake City. I am going to challenge him to go for THIRTY ONE instruments with the 31st being....you guessed it, a BASSOON! Stay tuned....

oh please guys , cant we just appreciate the mans effort in playing all this instruments? instead of complaining "oh he didn't play this instrument!" "oh he didn't play that instrument!" just stop and appreciate. its not easy playing and switching all this instrument almost instantly ya noe? sooo if u have nothing nice to say, don't say it cause nobody likes reading negative comments. oh n btw i think the player did an excellent job!

Great job Daron! I actually liked the flow of the instrumentation throughout. I thought it would be much more choppy. Practicing that instrument setup alone would have been hard enough! ...and I thought I was cool by playing 10+ instruments...
