Truly a masterpiece for making a nation looks bad in the eyes of the world, when you ask every one that what do you think about Iranians they say we are terrorist, but are we? , this movie for Iranians is like some one say "Whites are superior to blacks" To a black citizen. sorry for bad English:)

@@arkomallick1593 Well, i meant unrivalled as global vision, not only military. I won't start a never-ending debate full of dates etc but if you look at the big picture, Persian empire was leading in about everything except politics by that time. ( Around 300) Also when it comes to India, Persians had lands in Indian territory and very profitable trade roads existed between the two empires. You can easily find proofs of persian influence in india. A fair conclusion would be that despite the interactions, only one was a potentiel threat to the other, persian to Indian, not the opposite.

@P Smith First off. This is how it actually went down: 300 spartans and 700 helots left sparta to defend the pass. They were later joined by 500 other Greeks. Which are shown in the movie if you didnt see them. After 2 or 3 days of fighting those 5000 greeks seen a defeat and left. But the 300 spartans and there helots stayed behind even though they were going to all die. And yes they did have slavery. But the persians were tyrants....and the greeks decided instead of kneeling they were going to fight for there homeland even though they were outnumber severely.

Making the movie 300 is a lie, making computer games like this is a lie!!! and making videos on KZitem of such games and movies is supporting a lie. Please do not support false historical information, Long live the world of truth and awareness✌️ Here I will share with you some human points about the Achaemenid Empire So that you can better understand the lies of this mouvie about the history of Persia👇🏻👇🏻 1).The unity of Iranian peoples compared to Greece, The Persians were known for their religious tolerance, allowing conquered peoples to maintain their customs and beliefs. They took a more inclusive approach towards the different cultures and religions within their empire. This fostered cultural diversity and harmony, allowing Persian and non-Persian subjects to coexist peacefully. In comparison, the Greeks were often more ethnocentric and viewed their own culture as superior to that of others. 2). Support the Jews, Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Persian Achaemenid Empire, is known to have supported the Jews. According to historical and biblical records, Cyrus allowed exiled Jews to return to Babylonia in Judea and even facilitated the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. 3). Criminalization of slavery in Persia, King Cyrus the Great, known for his tolerance and humanity, made a bold decision. He called his advisers together and solemnly declared the prohibition of slavery in Persia. Source: The Cylinder of Cyrus 4). Cyrus Cylinder and human rights, The Cylinder of Cyrus is often considered to be one of the first known declarations of human rights in history. Although it is not a modern human rights legal document, it reflects certain principles and values that are consistent with fundamental ideas of freedom and tolerance. The Cyrus Cylinder text emphasizes such things as the liberation of displaced peoples, religious freedom, and the protection of cultural rights. It also emphasizes the idea of treating others with respect and dignity. In this light, it can be seen as an early example of recognition of the rights and diversity of peoples in the empire.

Even though it's not really accurate. Spartans would retreat from a battle if there was an advantage to be gained. They actually trained more like special forces, using hit and run tactics a lot. Kill a few enemy, back off, repeat. What they didn't allow was running from a battle I understand your point though.

Big Ounce bruh I know this is a true story but the movie is missing hella facts about the actual event. Like there was 5000 Greeks and like 15000 of the other guys that helped (can’t remember their name) and there was two entrances not one. The Spartans didn’t even want to hold that position but everyone else did so they did.

Only God knows how much I love this movie.. Leonardos was a true leader not the types we see now a days.. Ever watching this movie, I made a promise to myself that I will give anything to marry a Spartan woman to borne me a son and I shall name him Leonardos... Whenever I'm down, I tell myself *I AM SPARTAN*.. I also love Spartacus My Spartan woman, I can't wait to hold u in my arms and treat u like a Queen Much love from Nigeria... 🇳🇬
