One of the saddest most emotional scenes was the one where the girls decided they'd stick together no matter what. Then Rose asks..."What happens when there's only one of us left?" That tugs on my heart strings every time. It's as if she somehow knew she would be the last remaining Golden Girl. RIP Betty White! You always will be America's Golden Girl!!!

@@loualar9764my first language is Swedish and I’m an actor but I could never deliver those lines the way she did despite the language similarities. Too many times nowadays the words superstar and legend are used to describe untalented people who have no actual talent and are not even good people. The entire cast despite their off set differences are in my opinion all more than worthy of those titles they earned them. The fact that Bettie was also a kind and generous person especially when it came to her work with animals giving a voice to the voiceless showed her heart. She was a criminally underrated artist who deserves to never be forgotten not only for comedy but her entire career I never have seen a role that she didn’t make better she had a way of making mundane characters come to life.

I've heard different things about the stories, that sometimes Betty would ad-lib parts of them, that sometimes the writers would just leave a gap in the script for her to improvise and that although the whole story was scripted, only the start was rehearsed leaving Bea and Rue in the dark about the most insane parts.

"Magenta". Blance's word to describe all types of feelings she is feeling. When I used to watch the "Only One" part when Betty White was still alive, I used to think she really did become the only one left. Now she is also gone.:'(

It angered me to my core when certain groups tried saying she died from a covid booster. Even though she never got one. Anyone who hates this woman, has no heart nor brain. I said what I said.

Food for thought: Within 48 hours of Betty’s death, her long-time agent made the announcement that the official cause of her death was: natural causes. How would he know for sure that this is what she died of? Did he perform an autopsy on her or does he have special skills we don’t know about? Only an medical expert can determine the real cause and it can take weeks to know. Because she was 99, its also easy to assume that she just died of old age, the body shutting down basically. My point is that we should be cautious about believing in every story that comes out of Hollywood just as we should be cautious about believing that she died of THAT other cause. All that matters at this point is the legacy of joy and laughter she left us.

@@Swakara1 I don’t care how Betty passed. I cared the laughs she left. But I will not reward the behavior of people politicizing it for their agenda. It’s not okay at all. Politicizing a person’s death for your political gain is cold hearted.

I am sad. Because she was the surviving cast member of 2 of my favorite shows. Mary Tyler Moore and the Golden Girls. All of the good sit com entertainers are gone.😪

I think I am clueless like this sometimes. Rose 🌹is gem and Betty White played her well. The greatest. Every time I am sad, I look at the Golden Girls. You should have a live party for Betty on January 17th.

Even though The Golden Palace didn't have the same success as The Golden Girls, there are a couple Rose moments that were my ultimate favorites from the whole franchise. Like Rose hitting Dorothy on the head with a newspaper, Rose threatened to expose the con artist who was using Blanche, and Rose gets back at Sophia by pulling a practical joke on her with a famous team of entertainers.
