Health care costs are out of control. Going WFPB vegan can save money, pain and suffering from disease. Lower your chance of high blood pressure, heart disease and cancer by going vegan. Hospitals, doctors offices and schools should be places where good nutrition is taught and provided not places that contribute to disease and obesity. It is crazy the hospitals are feeding people the very food that caused the heart disease, high blood pressure or cancer that they are treating. Every person in the hospital should receive some nutrition education before being released. Every doctor visit should be an opportunity to educate patients about how food choices impacts their health outcomes. The fact that doctors do not get nutrition training as part of their training makes no sense. Medicare and Medicaid should require nutrition education as part of patient care. Focus should be on food choices, stress reduction, improving sleep and daily exercise.

Dr. Mike does not look like a young dude to me - in fact, he is younger than I am. Sorry - you have to look the part to walk the walk. Anti-aging and reverse aging are reflected in the body, not just the so called blood panels.

Heart disease is the number one killer of people today and cancer is number two. Being over weight is the number one factor leading to an early death. People who are over weight have higher risks for high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences. There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese. What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications. Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks. Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods

Agreed, I loved his book How Not to Age, I don’t like his videos where he just highlights things instead of going deep on one topic. 2” deep isn’t what I look for. I watched one video and it sounded like a good idea to buy wheat germ and then further investigation showed it’s super high in oxalates.

Being prematurely bald or wearing glasses doesn’t mean unhealthy. The real questions you should be asking are about him being overweight, needing prescription drugs, often sick, poor sleep, poor energy …
@Hanna-vq6sb

This is such a low effort, shallow comment. Yes, he could wear contact lenses, a baseball cap, shave/dye his beard and straighten and bleach his teeth, but it wouldn't make him any healthier, on the contrary, he would expose himself to a myriad of unnecessary chemicals. He looks like regular healthy guy.

Dr Greger 's approach to hormone replacement is appalling--very little inclusion of relevant research, cherry picking from the WHI, which was based on the use of synthetic hormones and has been retracted even by its authors, a disdainful disregard of the enormous physiological differences between men and women, the lack of research using female subjects, and on and on. He appeared to simply be too lazy and uncaring and possibly afraid to do the necessary work on this topic, but just glosses over it in his otherwise excellent book For shame, Dr. Greger!!!

People believed owning slaves, and the oppression of women was normal too. 60 years after smoking was finally labeled carcinogenic many people still smoke. It is no different from consuming animals 15 years after it is listed as carcinogenic for human consumption... There is this mass ignorance and denial as if it were healthy. Either a type 1 or type carcinogen...... Causing immense suffering, pandemics, disease, antibiotic resistance, freshwater pollution, oceanic dead zones, rainforest destruction, land degradation....
