Straight line RS doesn’t feel fast because it is so buttery. You feel it when you hit corners how fast the car actually is. Fiesta ST feels fast because it’s so light and so much torque. Owned both. I am sticking with my RS. I do miss the go cart factor of the Fiesta every day.

CarPassion Just to enlighten you. Escort RS (1995) £37,000, Escort RS Turbo Series1 (1985) £24,000. Escort RS 1600i (1983) £33,000 and some go for much higher than that. RS is iconic and holds value and in some examples, increase in value ✌🏼

I think the mk3 rs is stunning and it’s a fast car but I’d have the mk2 rs all day long it looks meaner and it’s more of a drivers car it’s Only my opinion that’s nothing against you and ur car I love all the performance ford cars unfortunately for me I could only afford the mk2 st3 I still love it though! 👍👊🏻 but it’s only my 2nd car so hopefully one day Keep up the good work mate

Have to disagree on drivers car.... I've owned both and the mk3 is massively the better drivers car. Push both through a twisty b road and there's hardly nothing modern that's better and more involving than the mk3 RS.... just wish it was a little quicker in a straight line out the box, but a map takes care of that. Think the 5 pot combined with the mk3 awd could of been perfection but we'll never know! All just my opinion based on my experience.

ada205mi ok that’s fair enough I can’t say as i haven’t drove a mk3 I’m just going by what the man at Colin’s performance told me he said they are fast but boring no torque steer he said it’s like the golf r it’s fast but no fun as the car locks up goes straight. Plus with drift control etc launch control it’s more computers driving the mk3 onwards? Could be wrong but I’d rather drift my cars and drive my cars 4 wheel drive is great but more excited front or rear whd.
