Josie, while visiting Amsterdam, I hope you and Charlie have visited Keukenhof Garden outside of Amsterdam. It is a gorgeous park, with magnificent flowers, and it is right up your alley. Lala would love it too! If you haven’t seen it, the next time you go to Amsterdam, please do so. Also, you may have dreamed you went to the Anne Frank House and Museum, but everyone owes it to them self to experience it. An interesting fact I recently learned…there was a tree which Anne could see when she looked out of a sky window. However, the tree started dying, and people tried to save it. They couldn’t, but before it died completely, they sent cuttings all over the world, to Holocaust Museums, synagogues and to Yad Vashem in Israel. What a beautiful idea so that Anne’s tree could continue to grow in special locations.

Josie and Charlie, I visited my 95 year old mother today. We are Canadians, but my mother grew up in England. I have been buying stroopwaffles, unfortunately not fresh, for my Mother for about a year now. We place them on top of our tea cup which is filled with freshly brewed tea and it melts the caramel interior. When I finally realized what type of waffle you were referring to and saw the fresh stroopwaffles being made I knew I would bring some into my mother’s home the next day. If she could see well I would have her watch your video, but I happily explained what Josie and Charlie has eaten and it made ours taste even better than usual! So happy you enjoyed yours as well!

I truly enjoy yours and Charlie’s lifestyle and content. You both have such positive vibes. You exhibit kindness and thoughtfulness and it always shows. And lovely seeing Amsterdam. It’s on my list to visit. ☺️ P.S…I happen to share Charlie’s perspective on weed smoking. I have to say every chronic weed smoker I’ve ever met and I’ve met lots have not lived up to their potential. In fact I can confidently say that most the time they lack any kind of goals or ambitions in life. I had read somewhere long long ago that smoking weed kills brain cells. Whether or not it’s been proven scientifically or not…I feel that it definitely effects the brain in a negative way. And that just from 20 years of observation. That said…I decided very early in life that I needed my brain cells functioning properly and never got into weed. ☺️❤️🙄🙏🏻

I definitely agree with Charlie about drinking - it is something that doesn’t make my body or mind feel well long term, especially with chronic conditions!! I live in a U.S. state where imbibing other substances is legal and have a medical card to do so as well - I will say for me it has allowed me to reach my full potential only because I live with such debilitating chronic pain. But I also think the key that he was getting at is doing the things that make sense for your body & spirit 🩷 in a culture that glamorizes imbibing all sorts of substances in excess, I appreciate how you two are much more mindful about that!!
