Thank you so much, 🧡Fiona, the reason is, people who are usually going to have a Lazy Susan are going to have it in the kitchen, where it’s either a green, or a blue earth, tone, color, something neutral, having a purple and pink Lazy Susan is a little bit out there… At least from my brain lol🤣 I keep in mind where my functional art might likely go in the house. But sometimes I guess you just have to cut loose.

Somehow I missed this video, and so glad I found it 😉 I love the way you talk/whisper to your creations, it shows how much you care for each piece in the creative puzzle...your choice of "Spring colors" is inspiring, and beautiful 🥰 I love the greens you use in your work, this particular green seems to go with everything, just like the way spring colors are...Thanks again for sharing your abilities with us...☺💕

You cracked me up all through this whole video with your comments! “Why am I whispering,” “I said I’d never use this color” “what the heck happened- that’s going to have to spin off” and sooooo many more. I was most entertained! 😂 sorry about your beautiful lost piece. I hate that when that happens. You did get a very pretty piece with this one though. ❤

Oh Kim, 😘thank you so much for recapping the highlights of this reel, and helping me put it all in perspective, because actually, it’s quite comical when you step back. Sometimes I cut out when I say, but this time I left most of my quips in, I’m glad I didn’t actually. Cuss though.

Awe, thank you Anita. What trouble are you having with a blowout?
@anitapotter2586
3 ай бұрын
I don't know. It seems like my blow outs all have a wonky black mess in them instead of nice cells. I can do coasters but the big ones leave me stumped. I'll keep practicing with my blow dryer & 1 day I will have that moment when it all comes together. I'm going to get rid of all my old paints & start mixing with your recipe, maybe that will help. Pillow pain is the same as yours already

Thank you, 😘Lori, it didn’t even occur to me to use the glitter until I had this creation, and it felt like it needed more, especially in that very light spot. So live and learn! Doing it on ornaments sounds like a great idea too!

This is gorgeous!!!! I love the color combo!!!! It really is very Springy!!!! I think I can ask you my questions now that I am not running out of time. When you get comments and the thumbs up, is KZitem able to tell if someone fast forwards through the video? I'm asking you because I never do through your videos. ( honest)! LOL when I watch my subscription vide, I don't always have time to watch the entire video. I have a lot! So I skip forward to the end to see if I'm crazy about it. Thanks
@LouiseMcKayArt

Hi Charlene, and thank you. If I had the slightest idea what KZitem did about anything I would be way ahead of the game. I do know that if someone only watches a few seconds of a video or none at all, it doesn’t count as a view. I think someone has to watch at least two minutes of a video to have it count as a view. KZitem knows how much of the video people watch, I just don’t get that information, or I don’t know how to find that out. In my videos, I usually show the result upfront so you know what you’re getting the video itself is to show you the process to get there. Hopefully giving you the teaser of the end result will entice somebody to want to stay to watch the process. At least that’s how I view things. But KZitem knows everything, I don’t know much lol😅

So pretty Louise... because of your beautiful lazy Susans, I decided to give them a try. I have a show in a few weeks and I'm clueless as to pricing, i ask 120.00 for a 14 " canvas, and i dont think I could get that much for the lazy Susan. What are your thoughts on pricing?
@LouiseMcKayArt
3 ай бұрын
Joyce, you know your market far better than I do and everybody’s markets are different. $120 for a Lazy Susan is reasonable in my opinion. So have a few price tags ready, slap on a few, see how the market is and then go from there.

Hi! I love your lazy susans. You said your techniques are applicable to canvases, etc; do you think a straight acrylic pour would work on them?
@LouiseMcKayArt
3 ай бұрын
Hi Angela, absolutely, I just haven’t done a straight pour, Only blooms, swipes and open cups because that’s what I prefer. But any technique would work, let me preface that by saying anything with thicker base paint would work. I don’t think a cloud, pro port would work very well, unless there was a solid color foundation to start with, already painted on and dry.
