Very cool cars, so you don't have the Plymouth anymore?

Thanks, still got the Plymouth. We actually have a hand full of cars, I just mostly do the vids on the Plymouth.

Did you buy kit or just cam with lifters? Does it require valve springs with installation?
@moparnick

I bought a cam and lifter set from summit... Had a set of heads with springs already set up.

Nice build. I have the eagle 383 kit with I beam rods. Did you have to clearance the rods for the cam?

No I did not have to clearance the rods for the cam, but the bolts that are on the rods are notched for extra clearance

What size torque converter? How does it respond to acceleration? Do you have power to above 6000 rpm?

I have a Jegs 2000-2300 stall converter and it's amazing with acceleration. I think the power band of the cam is 1500 to 6200 if I recall correctly. I rarely have it above 6 grand anyway.

@@moparnick great. Thanks. Looking at this cam for a 383 going into a 4x4 blazer with 4.56 gears. Wanting something that will have good torque on the bottom end but not fall flat on it's face at the top
