Your videos are different from other English-teaching videos. Learners get many benefits with just one video. Everyone can learn the pronunciation of words, the meaning of words, their synonyms and sentence construction. Your accent is very clear and kids can understand it. Again, thank you, sir. I do not know if my English is grammatically correct or if there is any rudeness in it. Please excuse me.🙏

Being french, I understand the large majority of these words and I think most unusual english words are close to French (roman+franc), while more common english words come form the Saxon. For instance, words such as proliferate (french: proliférer) seem really easy. To me it’s really interesting.

It all comes from listening to media. Most all English speakers just listen to slow everyday things and rarely hear these words; they’re memorable because of situational context

as a 30 year old english only speaker I can say I didn't know about 25% of these. some seemed pretty banal though such as; discrepancy, enlightened, simultaneous, indescribable & more. So overall 50% known & commonplace 25% known & uncommon/i've never used like tepid, nonplussed, proliferate(great word by the way gonna try and use it soon) 25% unknown to me, like obdurate, suffuse, mellifluous

Unless you want to sound like a pompous asshole trying to look smart, none except for "unrequited". If you're leading an especially intellectual conversation on an important topic, you might need the words "indescribable", "susceptible", "simultaneous(ly)" , "enlightened" , and possibly "discrepancy" and "tentative". If you're talking to your bartender friend who insists on calling himself a mixologist, you can use that. And if you're talking about a symphony with your musician friend, you might use "crescendo". None of the others are needed unless you're writing a book.
