Most children in foster care can't be adopted even if their fostering family/relatives wanted to, at any given time about one quarter of children in foster care have adoption as a goal but only about half of that 25% have actually had parental rights terminated to make them adoptable. Mine’s $50, so super lucky to accidentally already being in subsidized units so when my illness hit and I required constant care with wheelchair adaptations, we completely lost all income and any savings to paying out of pocket for medical equipment & bills so we were so incredibly fortunate to be able to stay housed. I use this blessing to spread love and joy through music and to provide ethical education for my homeschooled kiddo. I have it in paper that any income from music is limited to what we need to survive and provide a “happy healthy comfortable safe” home. Past that it’s donated in entirety to climate crisis charities and housing, sustenance centers (food banks) in the areas I’m working + a specific DV shelter that helped me through ptsd. I just really want to help others and pay it forward, I think this is the true key to happiness.
