I've noticed in your tutorials you didn't make any eyelids do you think it's recommended we model eyelids to a character similar to this?

Hey, I always add more edge loops to be able to close the eye when rigging yes. Some designs would need modelling a more defined eyelid for sure it depends on the style. But definitely make sure you have enough edge loops so that you can close the eye. You'll see I did this in the advanced skeleton tutorial series, check the face set up video out.

in 1:40 for some reason if Cut Geometry is enabled it will not mirror for me and the object will crash, i have to turn cut geometry off and than it will only work, is cut geometry essential? because i dont understand what it does.

Hey, thats strange its causing a crash.. you dont need it on... its probably best if I paste the description of how "cut geometry" works staight form the docs --- You can model a polygon mesh and then copy it across a user-defined axis of symmetry using the Cut Geometry feature in the Mirror Options. The Cut Geometry feature lets you manually position the axis that the mesh will be duplicated across. You can see the copied mesh "mirrored" on the other side of the axis of symmetry, and then move the axis to slide the two objects together or apart, changing the shape and location of the intersection. You can delete the axis and the copied mesh to cut the original object along the axis. You can also merge the duplicated mesh with the original mesh to create one resulting polygon mesh. Cut Geometry can provide for interesting symmetry results depending on where you position the axis of symmetry.

@@AnimatorArtistLife Hi I appreciate the feedback back I'm really enjoying the videos so far I'm still confused exactly what this feature does because even when it's off (because it crashes the object for me) even without it the object duplicated for me as a mirror to the other side exactly the same way you did in the video and Vertexes are also connected. And the symmetry still works for me. Probably a bug.. but I moved on, I'm on part 11 and so far everything is fine.

When I combine the head and body as you said at [2:55]. X-Symmetry no longer works on the combined body. How ever when I undo it, It works perfectly on the separate meshes. How can i fix it?

Hi, make sure all your vertices in the center are snapped to the center so "0" in x, then clear your history after you have combined. If that doesn't work, choose symmetry > Topology mode, it will ask you for a symmetry line, simply select one of the center edges of any polygon. let me know if that works for you

Thank you for your response,@@AnimatorArtistLife .I actually did something else. I selected both the meshes (head & body) and I combined them. Following that, I selected Center pivot and bake pivot, The X- symmetry started working again.
