All of the basic fighter animation states have been loaded, positioned, timed, and had their damage types and amounts set.
There are still many bugs to fix (some of which you may catch in this vid), and some of the throw / body slam animations need to be tweaked, but for the most part the basic gameplay is good to go.
It's a little clunky as I'm playing both P1 and P2 on a keyboard.
Next up will be getting the post-fight sequences functioning properly, working on the 1 player battle plan loop, and fine-tuning the remaining items that need to be fine tuned.
That should officially complete whatever phase this is... Next up after that will be specials and fatalities.
