This is easy to understand unlike the manuals from 3Ds Max website.

I was making a mistake of CTRL+C and then CTRL+V, it is as simple as select the Element+CTRL V to copy, thank you!

a great tutorial.. but is there any way to add some unit value while holding down shift key to move and copy objects so that the multiple copies will have the same distances and will not appear to be random? or do i need to be patient to use grid snaps to perfectly aliign the obejcts to ones, tens hundred values? what if i need to add some decimals? this move then copy stuffs in 3ds max seems easier in sketchup. it makes me so frustrated.

So in terms of control, a copy is good, an instance is better and a reference is best?
