Finally I figured out the 3gx flakey problems on my 6 trex 500dfc helis. The sbus cable has 3 wires and was originally designed for futaba s-bus receiver by align. My specific receivers are spectrum dsm2 old school 6 and 7 channel. The problem is the white signal s bus wire interferes with the spectrum receiver. Strange swash drifting, brown out type failure but throttle hold still worked. So FINALLY removed the white wire and all flakey problems are gone. Just flew for the first time with no weird 3gx glitches. Conclusion= sbus is not designed or compatible on spectrum ar6000,6100,7000 dsm2 old school dsm2 receivers. I hope this is the cure. I will test further and keep you posted. PS I was able to bind the 6 channel receiver by putting the sbus power cable(with white wire removed) on aux1 of the receiver and the bind plug in the bind port and bind it up. with power still on I then removed the bind plug, plugged the s bus back into the receiver b+ and the yellow pitch wire back into aux 1 on receiver. The 3gx then powered up and the failsoft function was set and working.(I had throttle all the way down on the transmitter during this process). transmitter is dx7, receivers all have 1 satellite, esc is built in caslte 90amp, I hope this helps people having the same flakey problems and frustrations. I called Jeff f at align to share this with them. Maybe they can make a service bulletin.

Another way to bind/rebind (if you have changed subtrim) if it is difficult to swap wires is to use a Y-harness, female bind plug, and standard receiver battery directly into the bind/data port on the reviver. The AR6210 on my 450 is mounted internal above the 3GX so it is difficult to swap wires around. I don't have a picture to show the set up, but I hope this helps out.

I probably won't do any videos about the GT5. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they put the touch pad where they did. On most helicopters, you won't have easy access to the pad after you mount the gyro.

How to bind AR 6210 6-channel dsmx receiver with Aura 8 flex innovations

Ron, on this bind for 6 channel ar6210 I noticed the 3gx bus wires are a different color than the dc wires you connect to the aux1. Can I just put the 3gx bus wire from the 3gx bus on aux1 or will I blow it up??? I have 4 of these and just connected the 3gx without setting failsafe, also the receiver was bound to transmitter without 3gx installed. I have had drifting, crashes and all sorts of crap with these 3gx. Is it because I did the bind without the 3gx connected? all 4 are spectrum ar6210dsm2 6channel receivers with 1 sat rx. I wonder is we are all having problems with 3gx because we have not bound 6 channel receivers correctly.???? My reason was without aux2 port and no separate bind port I got confused.
