I heard "jam"(=favorite things) for the first time. "In the before times", "In pre-COVID times" are also useful. I learned a lot! Thank you!

I would play “sk8er boi”when I was a high school student at a music club, so the song is exactly 懐かしい music for me!! It takes me back!! Oh, memories! It’s our song!

Fun talk! Thank you! They talked so much happily that I felt so happy‼︎ Fun mood was transmitted. 😎😊😆😄
I think "(It's) nostalgy.." is very close to "懐かしい(Natsukashi)" in Japanese.

According to Urban Dictionary... The Before Time : "The Before Time" is a reference to the 1966 Star Trek episode "Miri" in which the Enterprise encounters a planet inhabited only by children, due to a pandemic infecting and eventually killing all the adults. The children refer to "the before time" as the time when adults were present. This episode was parodied in the South Park Episode "Wacky Molestation Adventure" in which the children claim to be molested and are subsequently removed from their adult guardians. In 2020, the phrase has come to mean the time before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, when people could freely associate and go to bars and parties.

歌のタイトルにもなっている Those were the days.

You guys are so young! Looking at a photo from 10 years ago, we go like, already 10 years?! huh.... feels like yesterday.... and can’t find things changed! 20年くらい前じゃないと懐かしくない年頃ww 懐かしい is an adjective but in English, “missing” or “can’t believe” you use verbs. I think that’s a hard part for studying foreign languages.
Exactly what I have been looking for for many years, the English expression of "natsukasii". What about in other languages such as French and German? Are they in the same situation? Then, how about the language internationalization of "natsukasii" such as emoji, bonsai, origami, otaku, manga, karaoke, tsunami and mottainai.
