Wow! That was really easy, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with so much simplicity.

Thanks for the video! I'll be doing this this weekend. Towing my car home from the track, I lost my pump, which tossed and shredded my serp belt lol

It would be helpful to show loosening the serpentine belt, thanks.

You single handedly make it look like a walk in the park. Some of the best mechanics are ford owners I noticed

Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. My water pump has been weeping for 5 years. Just kept putting it off. Now it looks like that one. Hey 202k on the original is not bad

FYI I just replaced mine on my 04 today and didn’t remove anything except the water pump. I have a cold air intake which gives me more room over the stock air box but definitely no need to remove the alternator.

Makes it easier, only 2 bolts. To each their own.

I did one on the side of I-10 80 mph section in Texas. I didn’t remove anything but it was a PITA.

@@Caduceus88 you don’t have to but it only takes a minute to remove a couple things to make access easier.

How much coolant?

Whole system holds around 8 gallons. If you drain the wholes system you’ll need 8. If you only drain enough for removing pump you’ll need 4-5 gal.

Typical ford guy removing more parts then they have to. Cab off for everything lol. Jk great video

@@FoursquareT least we don’t have to raise our cabs just a fix a front cover leak because of Cummins not wanting to put a couple more bolts on the cover to keep the gasket from sucking in lol.

@@AutomedicGarage you don’t have to pull the cab off to fix that. But hey at least ford got smart to where you only have to raise the motor 5” now to fix a leaky oil pan

@@FoursquareT I don’t think your understanding what I’m talking about, your front cover has a gasket between it and the block, you have to pull the cam to remove that cover. On a 6.7 Cummins it’s 27 hrs in the book.

@@AutomedicGarage I’m just going to leave you with Cummins 3336 hp to a Powerstroke 1987hp. All around better motor.
@AutomedicGarage

@@FoursquareT I have no idea what you talking about with those hp numbers. To each there own. Powerstroke has a transmission that isn’t a slush box, a interior that doesn’t rattle and fall apart and a motor that makes enough power from the factory so you don’t have to feel like you can get out and run faster. Driven them all they each have their ups and downs. I like the Cummins, way better than a duramax, just never been pleased with anything thats wrapped around the Cummins motor.
