Hello ! Thank you ! It’s great vidéo I leaned some tricks. I got a question on your 4 axis harmonic drive, do you expérience some back clash with it ?

It's a nice thing to be able to use this machine, leave alone building it! ,Great! Now that does not mean that you should subject us to that loud nagging repetitive music loop! We are also expected to listen to the commentary so it's like shock therapy! Have you really produced this video!

It did look like Solidcam's iMachining as well. I don't agree with those negative's. I liked the video, the still's, the voice over was very nice, the joke in the beginning, and intro video was my favorite. If you can make a great video like this and run a CNC machine, you are more talented than 99.99% of the world. I am now a subscriber.

This is just random shape part which I used to test 4th axis. Cutting time about 45 min. I used 4 tools: 12 mm and 4 mm end mill, centre drill, and 1.65 mm drill. I think I could improve cycle by another 30% if I would add another tool like 6 mm for ruffing before 4 mill finish.

Why don't you fit a tenon to the bottom of the div head and tailstock, the tenon is a sliding fit in the tee slot and aligns the head and t/stock with the X axis, makes setting up so much easier and on the button every time.
@kmprecisionengineeringltd8338
8 жыл бұрын
+ukmwg Sorry dude but "on the button" for what tolerance ? I have found that most machine t slots are not that accurate even on fairly high end machines you could easily be talking 20+ microns which if you are working to a 10 microns tolerance already has you out of tolerance.... and they are good machines £100K+

NUDE CNC, listen buddy, I want to give you some advice: Its not a problem with your wife's narration. Its a problem with your actual PLAN for the video. You need to use THE the following PROCESS when making this type of video: 1. Tell us what you are going to do 2. DO it 3. tell us what you did. You should also explain exactly WHAT it is you are trying to show us. Is it how to USE a CNC? How to make a part? and so on. Obviously, you have skills. The skills just to SET UP the machine are problematic for many people. Then there is the SOFTWARE and how it is used. THEN there is HOW the software and the computer INTERFACE with the CNC machine. How about this: Start a SERIES of videos (each lasting 20 minutes) Hold up a METAL BILLET and then say "I am going to make THIS- INTO THIS and then hold up the metal PART that you made in the BEGINNING of the FIRST VIDEO. Then take us to the COMPUTER. Show us the SOFTWARE and HOW YOU DESIGNED THE PART. THEN TAKE US TO THE CNC Machine and show us WHAT brand it is and how many axis and WHAT someone would GET for such a machine and all the accessories that come with it (and price). THEN: show us the design THEN: Show us how you set up the CNC. Tell us HOW you know what bit to use when, etc. Now that series...I would subscribe to. Also..SCRIPT what you want to say. Don't just start talking. Pretend you don't know a single THING about the process and then READ your script and see if it makes sense. (Doesn't have to be TRAINING...but..you know...make it make sense and interesting) Might even want to point to a few COMMON mistakes people make. Even talk about WHERE TO GET billet metal that you use. This is a common problem with REALLY smart REALLY skilled people...the aren't good at explaining or talking. They are just REALLY good at what they do. Perhaps some scripting and you can really give the world some great insights to your trade.
