Stashaway Simple is great, but if you want to withdraw also need to wait a few days for them to process it, so I wouldn't exactly consider it superrrr liquid? Like if can wait a few days then okay lo, but then if you need it immediately then that's not the place for sure. Thanks for the video!

Er guys just an opinion but isn't it better to use Versa to keep your emergency fund instead of Stashaway as Stashaway Simple takes 1-3 days for the withdrawal but Versa is almost instant in withdrawal. So maybe you could replace SA simple with Versa completely. My strategy is 50% emergency fund FD (in different lockup periods ranging from 1 mth - 1 year) then the other 50% is in Versa. If I face an emergency, I'll use my credit card first if it's very urgent, then withdraw from Versa or FD to pay back the card within 15 days.

hi! im new to the whole personal finance thing and im thinking of starting up my own emergency and sinking funds as i just started my first full time job. i was thinking of putting my sinking fund into stashaway simple as i like the projected flat rate returns and the withdrawal rate isnt too bad. however, im kinda torn between also putting my emergency fund into money market fund as well or to just keep it in my maybank acc, hoping to use the tabung feature on maybank MAE as i know that one of the most important aspects of an emergency fund is high liquidity, which i think is p hard to get from money market fund (in rly emergency cases). can i get ur opinion on this? :)
@MillennialFinanceMalaysia

Hello! Really well thought out here. I’d say, split your emergency fund between StashAway simple and your Maybank account. Have just enough cash that you think you’d need immediately in Maybank, and put the rest in simple :)
