I appreciate your brutally honest reviews of the products and your integrity. Nowadays, most KZitemrs seem to be out more for the fast buck than they are about building a reputation and credibility with their subscribers, which has more value than getting that 4% commission from an Amazon piece of technology. Kudos to you! You are probably the first KZitemr I've seen that admits that they are not going to attach an affiliate link of a product that they don't stand by or have not properly reviewed. You are a dime-a-dozen, mate.

For around 50$ this mixer is pretty phenomenal. There are many different set up configurations. I use it for a podcast and I've grown to love it. 2 microphones in channels 1&2 use the red/white REC at top of mixer to go to input on an amp that controls multiple speakers throughout the facility while I run a 3.5mm splitter for the 2 headphones each with adjustable volume input control in the studio and folks/guest are impressed. This unit is great and can handle 2 channels wonderfully. channels 3-4 I use USB setting to control output volume if playing something from the iMac. I'm able to play my opening intro into the podcast not over top of the podcast. It's not fancy but it doesn't need to be...4.3/5 rating

What the heck is “PC Sound”?
@PeteJohnsMusic
4 жыл бұрын
Hey there. Not sure quite what you’re asking but what I meant is that it seems to allow you to mix in the PC sound with the other sound inputs and mix this through the output.

Pete Johns do you mean Sound from a P.C. As in "Personal Computer" or something else?
@PeteJohnsMusic
4 жыл бұрын
Yes. Sorry, sound from the PC or Mac that the mixer is plugged in to, so you can mix back in the computer sound with other inputs.

Pete Johns ok so it can take a signal from a PC or MAC or possibly an iPad and mix it with other signals then back into the same PC, Mac or iPad? I need to see this

Yes. I currently use my Samson MixPad to do this for my live streams. Highly recommended mixer! kzitem.info/news/bejne/z2t5nYGYs6x6oaA

Hey there. I would stick to using XLR mics with XLR inputs personally. Seems to be better quality.

Sorry it wasn’t rust you were looking for. I’ll try to label that it’s a “first look” more clearly in future.

The biggest disadvantage on this mixer is, that there no way to set the intensity of the FX, which makes it absolut useless for live mixing for a band!

Yeah I have moved on from this one. There are better options out there for sure.

Bought one last week, tried it for first time at my regular karaoke gig. FX knobs (repeat and delay) both set at zero but still miles too much echo to use properly. Quite disappointed.

@@TheDjkevvo I have a little trick for you, a kind of workaround: You connect Rec L, the white RCA connector to an xlr input. i. e. Channel 2. You plug the microphone into channel 1. You switch EFX off for channel 1. You turn on EFX for channel 2. Now you can adjust the effect level with the volume control of channel 2! :-) Unfortunately you loose one channel this way. (I have the version with 4 xlr channels! :-)

Just turn the effects off and use whatever effects pedals/processors that the band needs or has. There are usually ways to work around any effects issues, usually. I suppose if on a super tight budget and you bought this item for the effects and mixer, well I would recommend again turning off the effects and either record dry signals that can have effects/wet added in the mix down. For a live situation, again use your band's external effects. Just my thoughts and 1.5 cents input. 🧑🎤🎶🕺
