I was very pleased when you mentioned packing out the excess cheese goop. So many people just bury it or even just toss it under a bush. Your demonstration of keeping it low impact sets a good example for us all!

You and your mom have an awesome relationship. I go to the theater (or to the opera … or to concerts _which she is in,_ hurrah!) with my mom several times a month, depending on the season, so usually about 35 to 40 times a year, and it’s great. More of an urban adventure than what you two do, but similar vibe. I’ve always felt bad for people who feel alienated from both of their parents, which is a more common condition to encounter as an adult than I would have expected growing up. It’s great to get along with one’s parent as an adult. Yay you two!

Madison…..another wonderful video. Those mountains and lakes are stunning. The Canadian Rockies are beautiful. Love how you enjoy hiking and exploring the mountains. Keep doing this at your young age because you will be glad you did many years later. These are priceless moments. Old age will creep up, more people later, and sharing time with your mom will be cherished. I hiked and traveled with my dad for years and now he is no longer here but I have the memories. Always remember, life is not about accumulating possessions but about experiences. Wish I could meet you and hike with you. You are truly an amazing woman. Keep the videos coming, I am addicted. Thanks for sharing.

I've never heard of the place. It rivals Torres de Paine in Chile/Argentina. I wondered where the snow was during that time of year. The larches were splendid in the valley, with the mountains providing a backdrop. I'm glad you dropped the music in future videos. I've seen other videos made after this, and the experience has made them better.

You probably get areas in Canada where there's no air traffic. That doesn't happen in the US in the places I've been, the national forests and such. Always hearing a jet here or there. But it's all good.
