damn, I'm so charming :D The only thing is I've come to do all those things (and they work) because I don't like interacting with others and people used to not like me at all (although I have nothing against them and don't do anything to harm them, of course) . The problem is , it's fake , it works but it's fake , giving all the time , pretending all the time exhausts me and I still don't know how to interact genuinely. I avoid people and friendships. Yet I still do that thing each time I'm forced to interact and people like me now, a lot, to the point that they fall in love. It"s powerful.

People who gone though a lot are usually funny or easily finds the humor in things. This is a known fact. I was bullied as a kid and later depressed on and off, suffered sometimes severe anxiety as well as social anxiety for many years. But I joke around a lot. I laugh a lot. If it wasn't for humor I don't know what I would do. I think this is the case for most other "funny people" as well and Emilia too.

This Channel forgets not everyone is after the expression but after the feeling that accompanies the expression of someone. Encouraging a 'charismatic personality' for one's own benefit rather than for their own inner truth, and subsequently feeling like the person is just putting on a smile devoid of genuine feelings OR out of 'niceness' is actually very off-putting. They'd have to do it again and again consistently to convince me this is their personality. People who notice underlying behaviors should not be considered 'cold and calculating' for doing so either; it is very desirable to learn to see through courtesy and visual acting into someone's heart and energy they put out.

Well, shes good looking, a fine actress (I think) But at the end, I think I've never seen an interview that didn't make me smile... she does have great charisma, and I get the feeling thats just her being positive in nature. I've seen an interview with her mother, and to be honest, she isn't that different. You do see them together and get a feeling that Emilia has learned that from her mother, maybe even just by "learning by seeing what her mother days" on a daily basis.

Just kidding, you can be ugly in this circumstance. (I speak from experience). You can mix and match on these too. Active listener should be number 1 in my opinion. So long as you actually care about what others are talking about, whether you would normally pay attention to it or not, people will pay you significantly more mind if you show interest in what they're talking about. The other things definitely help. This is pretty easy for me because I really don't care about things I have to say or feel others can say what I'm thinking/feeling just fine. It means I have less to say, but when I do have things to say, typically (not always) others are more interested/invested.

@@SailorSiFi I think your doing rather well so far your putting yourself out there and actually applying what you learned, I think one thing that would benefit you is trying to be more humorous in your conversations and get used to laughing at your jokes that will give you way more opportunities to smile and laugh but genuinely this time, next is whenever you give someone a compliment and you start to feel some tension build between you and them try making a joke and for extra information on how to do this successfully maybe check some of this channels videos on flirting mainly the "push and pull" technique, even if you aren't trying to hit on someone it's a very versatile technique that can be used in all types of conversations.

Sometimes people don't smile too much or laugh too much because they are too conscious of their face. If they smile or laugh too much, they think they look ugly, so they just hold themselves from smiling or laughing too much. Emilia doesn't have to worry because she is beautiful. And when she smiles or laugh exagerrately, she is still beautiful. Her charms is so unique. When she smiles, you feel it that it comes from her heart. Her smile is magnetic.

I think it's because she has a really bright energy when she talks, laughs and when making jokes. A good listener always Positive. Unlike other people who always got Negativity vibe when they talk, always wanna win the conversation, can't accept jokes and always feel insecure when she's the topic of the joke.

I think, being genuine is charming. She is at heart, a performer. Some people don’t have that natural inclination to make others feel good, or to express every thought and emotion. Sometimes, just being consistent in who you are, no matter what others do or say, is all the charisma you need. If you don’t like something, you don’t pretend you do. If you have a weird sense of humor, you express it (even if it’s with a dry face). I like quiet, pensive types that randomly tell you things that blow your mind. Or that give insights you didn’t see.

I don't even think she is a performer. She was a long time sick and nearly died. This changes someone. She is happy to be alive, even though her doctors didn't believe she would make it. She enjoys life every second. But because of that I don't think it is possible to just follow those tips. It's a personality either you are that way or you are not.

Kanai yeah! If you know about MBTI 16 personality types you can sort of understand that concept better. I’m like her when I’m with people outside of my family, even with my family. I’ve been told I’m funny, but in a “you’re so entertaining” kind of way. But it’s because I have strong Ne (extroverted intuition) which helps me to notice opportunities for making jokes about things in my environment. Not always funny but makes people comfortable. Sometimes I get asked what I’m laughing at though because it’s not funny to anyone else 😆 coincidentally I love acting.

5:40 I used to be more like this, but people would relentlessly taunt me for being high or on drugs or tell me to calm down. It really hurt my feelings, so I am not like this around ppl unless I know they are safe.

@@MiketheNerdRanger that's not shallow it's true. Me for example. I'm nice and not ugly but I just have a boring voice. Trust me it is hard to keep someone's attention because of it. Then there's ppl like my sister in law who doesn't even try and she's the center of attention all the time. Some have it some don't. Just a fact. Same with faces.
@deannalumia1707

Exactly! If you don't have a 'nice' voice, or if you're considered 'ugly', forget about this. People will call you fake and will say that your overdoing it, or even think that you're upbeat behavior feels like you're nervous. I've been watching people's reaction to 'cute' people and to older, not 'cute' people. Same parties, same day, totally opposite reactions. And not to mention famous, rich, powerful people. Everybody is always sooo interested in them.

@@steelbear2063 you're missing the point completely. I'm willing to bet you're "objectively" better looking than Peter Dinklage, but also im willing to bet if they'd put him and yiu in the same room even amongst people who don't know any of you, he'd make far more friends. Because you're a sad person with sad attitude. Sorrow and self pitty are the biggest turnoff there is regardless of preference. As for Emilia there are many girls as pretty as she is out there and many of them are hiding behind their complexes and bad attitude, and that's why you wouldn't perceive THEM as attractive.
@ani_n01

Since nobody here seems to trust me on this, I'll have to insert self description lol : I'm short (5'4), have crooked nose, crooked teeth, brown hair, hazel eyes and too big jaw for a woman I'd say. There's nothing "objectively" attractive about me. And I wouldn't be proud of myself as I am now if I didn't have to learn how to love myself and how to show others that loving me makes sense. I don't want to "fix" my teeth or my nose because that makes me look like me, and I like myself. I don't want or need to look like a doll in other to leave an impression. In fact I think it might be harder for people with bland /flawless appearence to come across as interesting.

I feel that. I've struggled with depression for a lot of years and it took some flip flopping hard work to find humor again! But now, even though I still struggle a lot with depression, I can find joy by finding humor in the little things. Even if it's just my dog's flatulence. Don't give up! Laughter is one of the keys to dealing with chronic depression! Find a happy spot and focus on it, until your perspective shifts from seeing the black to only seeing that tiny speck of light, until the blackness is overcome by the good you focus on! I believe in you! 😇😇😇
