Love how your content's format/style is similar to old school educational documentaries. No fluff, just the info you need - part of why I love being a welder, a lot of us are like that We had adjustable standa like those at the shop I broke out in, but ours had rollers inside that u-shaped flat bar you mounted up top - with or without rollers those things are invaluable

Fine! Thank you for sharing these ideas. About adjustable stands: I think it will be better to make bottom standing on three heels instead of four, it will be standing always stable without any shaking.

I almost made a version of the adjustable stand for my blacksmith shop. I needed something to hold up longer stock in the forge. I went with a different set up but I till might fabricate one. Great ideas!

Awsome tools, Q. Do you have a vid where you weld the lock nuts? I tried today using a inverter stick welder on a 3 to 4 mm pipe, it was a pain in the arse.

Just curious, how did you bend that 1/4 thick flat bar on the adjustable stand? Looks like you have some decent bends but stuff looks pretty thick.

Clamp the ends in a vise, heat with a torch and bend.
