Aging presents symptoms of hypothyroidism. My brain is scrambling to reduce estrogen levels ( or not)? At present I am experimenting with different foods to avoid foggy brain, weakness and dry eyes (drops help the eyes). Possible gall stone formation has decreased in pain level since cutting back on calcium and citrus (as in Citrical), salt but with necessary iodine, and fats. Presently I have been consuming foods low in estrogen after test indicating borderline hypothyroidism. I like to control the condition with foods rather than medication. I hope to soon consult with hospital dietitian. I don't mind gently leaving my body behind, but while I'm here I would like to do the best I can.

I hope & pray to also leave gently one day. The better we nourish our bodies, the easier will our spirit depart when our allotted time is up. Perhaps, we also need to be at peace with God & our loved ones. I’ll take an “Irish exit” (please God) over long drawn out goodbyes. 🙏❤️✊🍀🇦🇱

Try adding a high quality, liquid version of Cod Liver Oil to your diet as well. The Vitamin A helps with the dry eyes in addition to all the other wonderful things Cod Liver Oil does for our bodies.

Vitamin C and cheese has been demonstrated to increase progesterone production, which in turn can beneficially impact fertility.x

Hi, have you found any success re: insomnia? I've been having the same trouble for the past 6 yrs almost. All I want is to be able to sleep. My Dr has recommended the Mirena IUD but I'm a bit hesitant to get it.

Can you please specify which safe cheeses to take? I know that soft cheeses like blue or brie are a no no but theres like so many cheeses that sometimes i cant distinguish which are soft or not. Like is feta one of them?

Hi there, while pregnant hard cheeses are safe so cheddar, tasty etc. To minimise risk, soft or semi soft cheeses (including feta, ricotta, brie, blue) unless they are thoroughly cooked thru (and heated above 75 degrees celsius) should be avoided. x

Your recommendations are brilliant! I’ve been researching progesterone for quite some time, I’ve only ever heard to increase magnesium and Vit B6, Vit C, and use chaste berry. I’m eager to implement these foods (no kakado plums in Canada where it’s currently-35 C!). Thank you so much!

from what I have researched if you have low progesterone you might be too high in estrogen. and Flax seeds increase estrogen further apparently so isnt it better to avoid this if you have estrogen dominance?
