Years ago, I trained with Billy Blanks doing Tae Bo at his gym in Van Nuys, California. He never used air conditioning! He said it won't help my progess. Since that day, I don't work out in air condition areas. Also that's why hot yoga 🧘🏽♀️ is so effective 😅😅

That makes sense, 🤔 about exercising outdoors. I usually avoid being outdoors during the hot summer months but I decided to do some yard work, in the sun, recently. I thought I would not be able to take it but it was quite exhilarating, and almost therapeutic. I exercise regularly but I couldn’t remember the last time I had sweat pouring off of me like I did doing that yard work. I was exhausted and slept great that night. Definitely going to try a few workouts outdoors. Thanks Dr. Bobby for sharing such good tips. ❤

We had to suit up for PE or get an "F". There were not 50 fast food places on every corner. We had to play outside everyday after school and homework. There were no cell phone games and we could not sit and watch TV all day. Having a piece of fruit for a snack was golden for us and if we inside, we were the remote control for our parents. There were none that came with the TV in those days. We had gardens and we ate lots of watermelons. I did not like sweets growing up but I did like peppermint sticks. I never had problems with my teeth until I was in my 40s because of not having sugar in my diet. There were cakes and pies that my Grandmother made but I did not like sweets.

I have a question Dr. Bobby Price. I heard that cucumbers are apart of the nightshade vegetable family, so you shouldn’t eat to much of them. How true is this, and can you do a video on night shade and vegetables and how it may affect some people who are on a plant based diet?

I agree, we gotta work on our muscles💪🏽, which helps to burn fat. I was interested in trying the carnivore diet, but decided against it. I'm doing what I know works: balanced diet (lean protein, fresh vegetables & fruits, and broth), fasting, spring water, walking, weights, resistance band, dancing to music, meditation, & avoiding certain people. It's NOT too demanding on my body, doesn't take a lot of thought, makes me feel good, and I look better too. Very doable.🙏🏽🙌🏽🧘🏽♀💃🏽👟👟🥗🥑🥒🥦🍏💚

@jewelsafire6844 - You decided against the carnivore diet, good idea. I did it and it works. I did intermittent fasting too, I did not eat until after 2:30 or 3:30. (I worked full time and I think that helped.) I didn't do anything but walk, but that wasn't enough, the weight does fall off, but for me so does muscles. Not saying it doesn't work for some people, just not me. I will be trying all of the things you said at the end of your comment. Didn't mean for my comment to be so long. And I wish you well.

I found that to be true as well. Working out at home...it will literally be 100 degrees, and it would feel like I had a much better workout when I would literally turn off the AC and just sweat more (just with my ceiling fan on high). It just seemed like when I'm sweating, the workout "feels" much better. And it is always better to be in sunlight when possible...working out, taking a walk, riding a bicycle, etc.

Peace & Blessings Dr. Price, exercising in warmer temperatures makes a lot of sense as well as the after workout sauna. I have been taking cold showers because I understand it is beneficial in aiding muscle pain recovery after a workout as well as other benefits for your skin and hair. Would you say it’s better to avoid cold showers after a workout if your trying to lose weight? If so, when are cold showers a good idea? Thanks again for the amazing content.

I think they could if they started small and that was something they focused on in their PE classes. My husband uses pushups as reinforcement or if our boys want to play games/stay up late and it isn't a school night. The most my 7 year old can do at one time is 130. My 8 year old can do 170 pushups. My 5 year old can do around 50. They usually do 25 at a time with pauses in between. He recently got them a pull up bar to work on those. He was a professional sports player and they amaze him all the time. Let them stay up late and they will try their best to do 200 push ups. I should add that this is something they consistently work on. They all started around 3 or 4 years old with like 1 push up. Our 19 month old (4th son) will try to get in position to start his sit ups or on the wall for wall sits. It's the cutest thing.

Every day I bring my children to school by walking. They also walk home with me. My wife said: "It's to far, they come home to tired." Sometimes indeed I end up carrying my daughter of 4 when we walk on the hill back home. But when the school is out, they run, look at flowers are happy. I do carry their backpacks. They have so much energy, way better then being brought to and from school by air-conditioned car. By the way: I lost a lot of weight by skipping processed fruit juices into water and just walk more. Your example of taking the steps instead of the elevator and park your car further away is exactly what I did. First I walked to the nearby supermarket (500 meter), later I walked to the further away supermarket (1000 meter) Also slowly carrying more and more. Buying biscuits with less sugar (and no artificial sweeteners) etc. I went from 115 Kilogram to about 78 Kilogram in about 6 years. I started as a diabetic and now I'm not using any medicine. Tip: before I walk I go to the wc and I always carry water with me. I now live in Ghana and I think ac is nice, just don't put it to cold. (Going from outside 37 Celcius to inside 30 Celcius, not from 37 Celcius to 20 Celcius) If there's a lot of sun, it's nice to be in the shade, so I think that's the good temperature in your house.

I believe you! Since I have been listening to you, not only have I lost weight and still losing; not only that, but I go to the bathroom more than once a day; not only that and since I don't like swimming due to imbalances in the chemicals in the water which affects me unfavorably, I am beginning to sweat. Man, I had not done that in a long time as I love AC Units and stayed in AC with about 62 degrees temperature. Also, when I do exercise at the gym, I usually wear my jacket until after 20 minutes of being on the treadmill before I can take it off. It is cold. I wish I had seen this video or it was produced prior to my injuring myself in the last quarter of 2023. I am restricted in what I do, but I still do. Thanks for the heat notice (though I can't stand to be too hot or too cold) as it will make a difference. I am not trying to lose weight, but the visceral fat mostly. My skin would burn pretty bad in the sun, but now I am able to tolerate it a little more, almost to 45 minutes. All the fats are still in place (visceral fat) but are reducing day by day. This is me without your product to get my body to the correct level, I can't wait until I get your detox. Still being challenged $$$$, but I ain't gonna quit! You are amazing! Greeting Dr. Price, As I was viewing this video and you were talking about the comparison of the beach pics, an old episode of the Twilight Zone popped in my head! 🤷🏾♀️ It is the one where aliens came to Earth and befriended the people. I think they promised to take the people on a trip to their planet. A lady felt uneasy about the whole thing. She somehow came across an alien's book & tried to read it. Not until the end of the show did she realize it was a book on how to cook humans! She tried to warn the people telling them not to board the space craft. They didn't listen and were looking forward to the meals prepared for them by the aliens and left. 🎉🎉🎉 I apologize for this being so long but to think that in a span of 50 years the change in people is so drastic! 🥺 It's not good at all.

Ancient Egyptians were basically the same as American today. The had the same disease and health problems because they ate horrible food and they lived in sin. Deuteronomy 28 shows a bunch of curses for not obeying God's laws ( moral and health) and a lot of the curses were physical health curses. God mentions how he won't put the curses and health problems of Egypt and us if we keep his laws. God is good. Jesus is God
