I liked this vid. It shows a talented comic working out rawer material in a smaller venue. It contrasts with Pascoe's "perfected" work which flows seamlessly at big shows like Live at the Apollo, illuminating the crucible of trial and error she must undergo at many smaller live shows before achieving success.

what happened to her in a year that made her so nervous?

That was hilarious! I’ve heard SP tell all these jokes perfectly on other clips in fromt of huge audiences, having her forget one and get the timing or projection different so the audience misses the joke here lends then a whole new perspective. Just shows, even great material is tough to get right.

Guess she was still finding herself or her handle on that material. I've seen her do similar stuff with a much funnier persona.

@wonkbreath Yours is a most asinine type of comment. As if we each need to be world class heavyweight boxing champs ourselves to appreciate the skill (or lack of skill) from a participant in a given bout. Howard Cosell wrote a book about it - *I Never Played The Game* to answer his own critics that he'd never personally done any professional sport but made his career critiquing athletes. I've also never invented the internal combustion engine but I can tell the difference between the purr of a Rolls Royce and the coughing sputter of an out of tune old lawn mower engine. I actually acknowledged that this comic was capable of better which makes your remark *extra stupid* in context. Muted!
