Matthew 14:30-33 NLT
but when he saw the strong wind and waves, he was terrified and began to sink. "Save me, Lord!" he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. "You have so little faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt me?" When they climb back into the boat, the wind stopped. Then the disciples worshiped him. "You really are the son of God!" they exclaimed.
Just like Peter, God would love to see how you will respond to life's strong wind and waves, He loves to see how you will be able to take a step in battling your storm as you focus in Him. It's so hard to go on a battle unprepared, every day of our lives, we go through different waves and this passage reminds us to strengthen our faith in God because He is in control of everything, He loves to see us learn after we fight battles and as we continue to believe in Him, He will always provide us with wisdom and power for us to overcome. Let's never get tired of believing for impossible things to happen because the God that we serve is a powerful God who is in charge of everything, He was able to perform miracles long long time ago, he is able to do it again this time. Let's allow our faith to fight the unseen enemy. let's never get tired of praying and believing because our God never gets tired of listening and granting our request. let's always remember that "GOD NEVER LEADS US INTO A STORM HE DOESN'T GIVE US THE POWER TO OVERCOME." at the end of everything, just like the disciples, let's never forget to worship the God who allows us to stand again, let us lift His name on high because He alone deserves it.
