The ABSOLUTE FIRST thing you need to learn in progression is riding switch with carves in BOTH directions. Then move on to these.
@kkunitak
5 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Much easier if you move your bindings into the middle of the board (I have a burton process flying V, so the EST/infinite channel bindings make it easy to move the bindings forward so they are absolutely centered on my board)... also adjust the angles so your bindings are completely symmetrical. That way you can ride half the day switch and half regular so your muscles get a break on each side, usually I ride all day and get 35K vertical or so.

I respectfully disagree. There is no reason why you can't learn these basics before learning to carve switch (learning switch, however, is key to upping your game). These four basic moves will really get your balance cranked up. Like the coach says ... start off on less slope with less speed. And make sure you have situational awareness (be aware of the space and those around you) turned up as you always should.

12 spins in a row, boy did a 4320. I usually get pretty dizzy after about 4 or 5 straight spins, but they are so much fun to do when on slow sections of a run! Now, I just have to figure them out on a box. I fell on my ass hard on top of the box trying that yesterday haha. I've got the 2020 Yes "The Greats" board and I love it so much because its such a fast and pretty versatile all-mountain freestyle board. But, I wish it had a bit more flex so that butters were easier and more effortless. I get so jealous when I see people hopping back and forth from press grabs, doing 180s from tip to tip.

Hadn't been in six years I was so sad and mopey. I almost gave her my favorite snowboard as a parting gift. It would have burned up in Paradise California...and for what? This level is exactly where I am after a six year break. Its the perfect video. It shows just how good you are and playing around with them is better than any girl. Ride on.

Nice ride. How flexible is your snowboard? What angle do u have on bindings?
@ethanstern5410
5 жыл бұрын
stiffer board has more pop. softer board has more press. preference purely depends on your style of riding. for example i like a medium flex board so i can do presses and i dont lose pop. binding stance angles are also preference. if you stand with your feet at shoulder distance apart, face forward and jump, how you land is your "power stance". mirror your binding angles to your power stance.
