I agree with you 1000% I started with trying to “copy” some else’s recipe and couldn’t understand why it wasn’t working for me. Then I decided to change wick and or pour temp and it worked. Thank you for this information.

It definitely doesn’t help much in the long run!

I think with FO and wick, the viscosity of the FO plays a huge role into how the candle burns. For me, at least it’s been a huge component when the FO is oilier or thicker, i need to usually wick up. This video was super helpful.

I definitely agree. Each one is so unique it seems that the minute I think, oh I know what it needs, I’m wrong 🤣

Hi Ashley. I've been watching all your videos chronological order. Im a newbie ( still researching). I remember a video you talked about wickless testing. Do you do testing for every scent or just for every new jar? I'm afraid of finding a good wick for one scent/jar and then it not going as planned for another scent in the same jar. BTW you should add comedian to your list of jobs. Your so funny. TY

Yes, every scent in every size jar and then they get retested. This is the vital part of your business so there are no cutting corners as far as I"m concerned and anytime a candle make does cut the corners, it shows. Likely you will have multiple wicks that work with the same jar with different scents! Also, thank you for the additional credits to my resume :)
